Do you follow our friend ? We've known Luna and her family for years but rarely get to see them, so hanging out with them at the 2024 and 2025 was quite a treat! Paws crossed that we get to see them again soon!

Today you are SEVENTEEN!!! How has it been so long?! Where has the time gone?!

Happy birthday to the OG, to the boy who made me into the (crazy) dog mom that I am today. You've been with me for almost half my life and boy, have we had some adventures. You've traveled all over the country (and to Canada!) and have been there during several moves throughout New England and Georgia. You may be blind, deaf, and sleep roughly 23 hours a day, but you're still the guy in charge. You love a good blanket and a snack (who could blame you??) and won't say no to a snuggle. You love your brothers and they adore you just as much.

Happy birthday to my decrepit old man ❤️We love you Rexy Roo!

✨ Great news! ✨

This afternoon we had an appointment with for our first check up since February - and I'm so happy with how pleased they were with Sully's progress!

The last time he saw them, he still needed the full harness, his back legs were still very weak and the wheelchair was how he was mostly getting around. He weighed just shy of 120 lbs (he got down to 113 at his lowest!) and honestly, looked downright scary, not like the goofy muppet we all love.

This time around, he strolled in wearing his bright orange Mojave shoes (complete with jibbitz, of course!) and only the rear portion of the Help 'em Up harness (to make it easier for me to get him in and out of the car). He's weighing in at roughly 145-150 lbs these days, thanks to his ravenous appetite and his love for his muscle-building supplements.

Anyway, if you've made it this far in my book of a post - we're not 100% cured just yet, but I was given the OK to take him off the meds and start taking longer walks to build up his endurance. Thank you to everyone who has supported us through this journey - your advice, comments, love and prayers have kept us going these last 7 months. ❤️

We've gained some new friends recently so let's do an introductory post again!

Hi 👋 I'm Sullivan (Sully for short) and I'm a 5 year old Irish wolfhound who lives in Savannah, GA. I have 2 little big brothers - Rex, a 16 year old miniature pinscher, and Caesar, a 15 year old chihuahua. I've earned my CGC, CGCU, CGCA, ATT, TKI, THD and BCAT titles as well as my Therapy Dog certification.

I'm currently going through some health issues (diagnosed with spondylosis, had an emergency GDV surgery and then diagnosed with discospondylitis and epidural empyema, all in a matter of a month), so we're working on building up muscle after extreme muscle loss in my back legs, which is why you'll sometimes see me in a wheelchair!

I volunteer my time as a therapy dog at the Savannah/Hilton Head International Airport, at the Bluffton Library, and at the Islands Library branch here in Savannah. I also help out the S.D. Gunner Fund with therapy dog events.

Fun fact: I've been featured in Southern Living Magazine and South Magazine! I've also been in a couple commercials. I guess you could say I'm a Savannah celebrity!

That feeling when...mom tells you it's too darn hot to hang out outside and you're just like 😩

Who else has been cooped up in the house lately due to extreme heat/humidity 🔥 or the crazy rainstorms? 🌧️

When my friend came into town this weekend, OF COURSE I had to show her the sights! ⛲🌴🏢

Unfortunately, extreme heat and rain detoured our plans so we had to settle for dinner at where we could relax on their spacious patio while our moms chatted it up. We met an entire cast of characters, including one (very drunk) woman who kept telling us that she was a dog trainer and wanted to walk me around. Mom kept telling her no and while it took awhile to sink in, she finally left us alone.

Anyway, I hereby invite June back for a do-over, hopefully without all the rain and the weirdos! 😂

🐠 Celebrate World Oceans Day with us! 🐡
