🐺 Turtle joins us for a 10 day stay-cation, and I'm so excited to continue developing his scent detection training.

🐺 Merry Christmas from Wolfpack.
🐺 What an incredible year we have had.
🐺 I started the year off with a herniated disc in my lower spine, which prevented me from doing everyday tasks.
It took 8 long weeks to get back to doing what I love, and now it's an ongoing task to maintain strength to ensure we can continue to operate.
🐺 I attended 5 incredible dog training seminars throughout the year to further my knowledge and skills in the art of dog training.
🐺 I helped hundreds of clients reach their behavioural goals with their dogs from aggression cases to puppy development and everything in between.
🐺 I secured an amazing facility to hold my group classes. This has been a long-term goal of mine to be able to offer a safe space for dogs and owners to progress in their training journey's.
🐺 I entered my dog Mars into our very first 2 Scent Work Trials and 2 Rally Obedience Trials. Taking 1st and 2nd place in the Scent Work Trials and passing both Rally Trials.
🐺 I married my best friend and had Mars as our ring bearer.
🐺 I wish everyone a very safe, happy, and festive Christmas. I hope you all spoil your dog's with all the love they deserve.

🐺 Congratulations to "Bear" graduating the 5-week Wolfpack Puppy Program!

🐺 Ernie, the 4 month old Silky Terrier, passed his Wolfpack Puppy Program assessment today!
🐺 Over the past 5 weeks, this team has been putting in the work building a strong bond with established communication pathways, motivation for commands, exposure training, developing play, socialisation and habituation.

🐺 Turtle's Scent Detection journey the past 10 days
🐺 Turtle has been boarding with me over the past 10 days, and I have dedicated his daily training sessions to scent work.
🐺 Developing Turtle to search and indicate on the scent (Birch) has been so much fun!
🐺 In such a short time, Turtle has excelled in his scent training and is now able to search independently and indicate where the scent is hidden.

🐺 The Alex Edwards Socialisation Seminar was an incredible weekend spent learning how to assess dogs for suitability for social classes, how to safely manage large groups of dogs, how to run social classes, reading canine body language and so much more.
🐺 Alex is a guru of the industry, and it is always an honour to learn from his endless knowledge and experience in all aspects of dog training and behaviour.
