Willie has been adopted! 🥳

Remember this little tot? 😻

Willie came to The Foster House Rehab Furcility back in April with a wonky eye and an equally wonky tail. 🙀 Willie has had the eye removed, and has grown into his cute little pug like tail.

Willie is going to be a big boy! He adores other cats and has been around small dogs. He is rough and tumble, but also sugary sweet. He loves to be held, carried around and will jump onto your shoulder to get his own birds eye view of the world.

Over the weekend we welcomed Po' Boy, aka Poe to The Foster House. 😍

This wee one, literally, was born in a local shelter while his mother was on court hold. Fortunately staff noticed his failure to thrive and contacted Compassion For Canines to assist.

While his body is tiny, his appetite is HUGE and Poe is eating well. We think he just got tired of being one of many and wanted to be the one and only. 😅 Not all of us are cut out for that big family life.

Poe will be in foster for quite a bit, so follow along to watch him fill out and blossom. We can't wait to see how handsome this little guy becomes.

Then promptly jumped back up for round 6,553. 🤪

No one talks about the stress of fostering special needs pets. 😿

The emotional roller coaster it is. 🙁

The worry the next time you go to check on them will they still be here? 😔

The moment of hope when they show the slightest improvement. 🤞

So much of caring for these tiny lives is just throwing everything you got at the wall and seeing what sticks. That always includes your heart. 💔

George and I are riding that roller coaster right now. So cross every finger, paw, and toe for George. Send all the good karma you have our way. This little guy has stolen our hearts. ❤️

In store they are marked down to just under $9. It doesn't show as clearance in the app(regular price is $20.99). These are perfect to donate to your local shelters and rescues for them to pass along to baby 😸 fosters for weaning. 🥰

Royal Canin is one of the top foods for weaning kittens. Kittens take to the food better and weaning is so much less stressful.

Welcome Brock to The Foster House!

This little crackhead...Pug mix puppy...came from a local shelter after his owners failed to come looking for him.👎 He needs a minor surgery to fix that cherry popping out his 👁 and get the cherries on his back end ✂️. Once that's done he'll be available for adoption.

Some of you remember little Miss Rosie, now June Bug. Well this is her brother from another mother! 😆

Welcome Willie to The Foster House! ❤️

Willie is a 5 week old Persian with a nubby tail and a wonky eye, but we think his imperfections are what make him perfect. ☺️

While here Willie will have the 👁 evaluated, neutered, and vaccines updated. Once all that's done he will be ready for his new home. So follow along for Willie's wonky adventure with us. 😉

Willie is settling in with the resident cats, has met his foster roomies, and is making himself at home. He especially loves bopping Curious George on the head. In no time they'll be romping together!

Both Willie and Curious George are adoptable pets through Compassion For Canines.

Curious George is the cutest little 🐒!

He's been at the Foster House for just over a week and is growing in leaps and bounds. He came in at 73 grams and is now double that!

Georgie has a cleft lip so struggled with getting that good latch on momma. He wouldn't have survived without intervention. Georgie initially was tube fed, and over the past few days we've begun a slow transition to the bottle.

We can't wait to watch this little guy grow into his big personality. 😍

Kitten season has begun...

Mr. Bean and Irma came to us a week ago today when their mother was found deceased behind a convenience store. Ice cold and weak, they were immediately placed into the incubator.

Irma grabbed the 🍼 and went to town. Bean, on the other hand, struggled and was so weak he ended up needing a few days of tube feeding. By day 4 he threatened to call CPS(cat protective services) if I put the tube down his throat again so he was given the chance to try the bottle. He caught on quick and has begun out eating his sister. Typical boy...😅

Mr. Bean and Irma have had a rough start, but their lives will be 💯 percent better than their mothers ever was. Two more kittens off the street who now have a happy housecat life to look forward to. 😍

Bloom has been adopted, and now Sassy is asking when it will be her turn.

Sassy is the best little lady. She's an experienced biscuit maker, loves to jump on her soapbox to announce her opinions, and spend lots of time with her people. Sassy would prefer to be in a home with other animals, as she's spent the majority of her life in a home with them. Or in a home with someone able to give her loads of attention. She isn't high energy, but she won't thrive being left alone for long periods.

Meet Sassy and Bloom.

Surrendered to a local shelter, these 2 sweet Himalayan ladies are hoping for a fresh restart in a new home. ☺️ They are sweet as can be! 😍 Don't let Sassys name fool you, she is all biscuits and head rubs. Bloom is a tad shy, but once she gets the good treatment she melts right into you. 💕

Once they've gained a bit of weight and had their medical updated they will be available for adoption through Compassion For Canines.
