Two new kitties arrived yesterday: wobbly boy Lenny, who is covered in scabs, and beautiful Nina, who was described as wobbly but isn't -- though it turns out she is pregnant! 🤦🏻‍♀️

Both absolutely riddled with fleas, malnourished and living out in the cold on the streets of Birmingham. They seem thrilled to bits to be indoors and having food brought to them instead of having to struggle to find something safe to eat. We'll get them well and they'll never struggle again.

Thank you so much for the wonderful surprises you all sent on Amazon Prime Day! Litter trays, carriers, bowls, food, toys, treats -- so many useful supplies for our many needy moggies.

Even better, they arrived with boxes and packing paper that kept the horde entertained for ages 😅

We recently celebrated the inimitable Smol Paul's fifth birthday by commissioning a portrait! We met the amazing Job Muscroft at The Cat Show Live and instantly fell in love with his dopamine-soaked, colour-drenched character art so he was the perfect choice.

And I think he absolutely nailed it - although I'm not sure Paul agrees! 😅 What do you think?

Mama cat Alice got spayed this week, and her baby Dinah (who came from Protected Paws to get treatment for swimmer's syndrome) doesn't recognise her because she smells like vet 😅🤣

We lost a cat and four, almost five, tiny kittens to the panleukopenia outbreak this month. Yesterday I posted a story about the importance of vaccinating your cat to protect the little ones who can't have jabs yet.

I now have an inbox full of cat anti vaxxers. I am so over humans!

Someone even accused me of being paid for the story by "big pharma." Bro I wish, I don't even get a bulk discount on vaccines!
