🐾✨ Woofie Wednesdays at West Edinburgh Vets✨🐾

This Wednesday, we’re celebrating our four-legged friends with helpful pet care tips, behind-the-scenes peeks, and a spotlight on our amazing patients. 💕

This week’s focus: Post-Op Care for Your Pup 🩺🐶
Surgery can be ruff, but recovery doesn’t have to be! Here are a few tips to keep tails wagging after an operation:
✅ Keep activity low – rest is best!
✅ Follow all prescribed medications as directed.
✅ Check the incision daily for redness, swelling, or discharge.
✅ Use a collar or medical shirt to prevent licking or chewing.
✅ Shower your pup with extra love and snuggles.

Your veterinary team is always here to help. If you notice anything unusual during recovery, give us a call right away! 📞🐾

🩷 I love bumping into our clients around town! 🐾 Had the pleasure of catching up with Ferris while he was at work today — he’s such a good boy, keeping all the customers calm and happy.

And of course, Nikki at Hair by JFK in Bruntsfield always gets a five-star review from me ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

🧡 On , I’m remembering the one and only King Harold of Orange. We lost him earlier this year after a brave fight with bone cancer, and not a day goes by that we don’t miss him.

Today, I’m choosing to celebrate the love, laughter, and light he brought into our lives. Forever our ginger king, forever in our hearts. 👑🐾

Give your orange kitties an extra cuddle for Harold today. 🧡

Today, on Rainbow Bridge Remembrance Day, we honour the beloved pets that have crossed over, celebrating the love, joy, and companionship they gave so freely. 🌈

Though they may be gone from our sight, their memory remains, guiding us through moments of reflection, gratitude, and healing. They are forever loved and never forgotten!
