2025 is going super fast hence lack of posts on our page but just to let you know we are still running but have been busy with existing customer demands and have limited ourselves to two extra doggies maximum. Please don’t hesitate to reach out if we can help care for your pooch over July and September - November - first in first served - your pup will return home happy and exhausted. It’s been months since I’ve updated my Doggy Love page so please accept my apologies. Life just gets busier for Jeff and I and I’ve just changed jobs and my time is limited. But we are super lucky to still have Jeff working from home to multi-task with the dogs! A couple of updates from us - we lost our beautiful Jess late last year to old age and as dog lovers we know you will understand the pain of losing a much loved fur child but she is now pain free and holds a special place in our hearts. We also acquired an incredibly handsome golden retriever “Wolfie” who is now around 20 months old and doing amazingly well - a total goof ball but adorable! Bentley is loving having another boy in the house to play and challenge with but he’s still the boss. And our beautiful cats Willow and Miss Kingsley are still gaining confidence with new dogs but are so relaxed with retrievers!
So for the 2024-2025 year we have very limited availability and unfortunately will not be in a position to have any new dogs (call us for more detail). We can hopefully still accommodate our old or current customers but ask you to book few months ahead of time. And of course prices continue to rise in NZ so we have had to sadly increase our rate by $5 extra per day/night.
So from all of us to you - wishing you and your furries a fabulous 2024 year and please get in touch with us at any time if your furry friend needs luxury accommodation at basic prices. Please note we are unavailable for bookings over Easter this year and have just one more place for Christmas/New Year. 🐶 ❤️ From Lu, Jeff, Bentley & Wolfie.

It’s been some time since I’ve posted on our site as life has been super busy - the crazy weather has also affected our doggy yard with a homemade swimming pool better known as flooding! But we are drying out and all our doggies can at least get some outdoor time now which is fantastic. We also have some exciting news - we now permanently have another furry in the house - a beautiful young golden retriever called Wolfie. A stunningly handsome boy who’s had a bit of a rough start following neutering going horribly wrong but he is back to his normal puppy self now and ready for some zoomies and play time. This addition does mean however that we are limited to only a max of 2 extra doggies at any one time. We are fully booked from now until the end of August and have two closures - 5-10 Oct 2023 and 18-26 January 2024. Contact us as soon as you know your holiday dates so we can accommodate your woof 🐶 that’s all from us - sending licks and love from Doggy Love ❤️

Hi to all our doggy love fans - it’s been a while since we’ve been in touch as life has been pretty crazy for us over the last few months - but Jeff continues to be an incredible Doggy Love Director 🐾 with great adventures, play times and great pics while I’m stuck in the big city for my day job! But summer is coming and it’s great to get out after work for our evening strolls. We are fully booked now until end of Feb 23 so don’t forget to get in early for those long weekends next year - we are now only taking 6 dogs at any one time so we can give your dog the love and care it deserves! (Plus the cats 🐈 🐈‍⬛ hate us if there’s too many dogs!!! So from us to you - Happy summer and happy holidays and don’t forget to put sunblock on your furry friends noses 👃 if you’re out and about and always have water 💦 available.
