We don't have a convincing argument to get anyone to adopt Amelia. Honestly, that's probably why no one's been interested. She doesn't really want you to touch her until you spend 15 minutes building her trust and then she absolutely wants chin scratches but nothing else.

She doesn't want to play with toys or interact with a wand or laser. She does however really want to just lay around and gaze at you or gaze out the window if you and immediately run away when you try to approach her.

We are at a loss to convince anyone to adopt a cat that they can't really touch just for the companionship and knowing that they contributed to the life-saving mission of animal rescue. Amelia's alternative was to stay in a shelter or be turned into a barn cat and her shy demeanor and long coat just are not suitable for that life.

We might not have a reason for you to adopt her but- we really hope someone will see her picture & immediately know in their heart that she is their reason for adoption!

Bobtail panther just doesn't understand why she hasn't been adopted! Manxie was so terribly shy when trapped in her cat colony as a young adolescent 9-month-old. It was clear that this sweet girl had the potential to be a loving house cat and did not need to be returned to the street. Manxie has now been with us for a year and has blossomed into a wonderful companion. She is comfortable with cats of all shapes and sizes and even dogs with nice kitty cat manners.. she doesn't mind being picked up but loves to lay in a room with her people and gaze at them.

Due to an injury our girl had a tail amputation and now sports the cutest little bobtail. Manxie Is about 11 lb so she is a wonderful chunk of panther!

We have not ceased operations or abandoned the animals in our care. In fact, we recently accepted a mother and her two nursing kittens into our program. Our organization is presently undergoing a complex restructuring process, with plans to return to full capacity by June. We are aware that this period of transition occurs at an inopportune time.

Last night we were called to help with a terrible situation- folks were trapping in the city and came across a mother cat with what appeared to be one living and three deceased newborn kittens. They jumped into action reaching out to everyone they knew and someone ended up contacting us.

With Cydny out of state and no available fosters. We were really at a loss of how we would be able to help but started reaching out to those we knew. In the meantime, the finders did not give up on the babies, did not leave the babies they assumed to be deceased behind, And thankfully they were able to revive one kitten on the drive to Chasity Starrett-Colón who welcomed them with open arms.

I have posted a fundraiser for care of these two babies and their mom as they will be coming under our organization however Chasity already has a fundraiser going for a beautiful pup she is fostering and caring for on her own. If you are able to help us, please consider helping her first, she does so much for these animals on her own and still did not say no to us when we asked!

Watch this friendship as it developed over the years.

2 boys both considered likely unadoptable, from 2 completely different backgrounds became best friends in foster care and were lucky enough to be adopted and loved forever by their foster.

We are so excited to share that! Zeke was able to be seen for his recheck and follow-up at CVC cardiac Care! For a little fellow with a 4/6 heart murmur, he is doing remarkably well and now can be managed on a simple and inexpensive once a day pill. This beautiful silver tabby has been in our care for 2 years and we are so thankful to his fosters for loving him, giving meds everyday and bringing him in for his appointment!

Here are Steph's words: I'm looking for funding to purchase one of these foals to keep it from going back in the slaughterhouse pipeline. The farm next to me buys horses and flips them to make a profit. If they can not do so, they are sent to auction on the Canadian border where a lot of horses are purchased for the slaughter house. I drive by the farm everyday and I noticed he has a very large group of foals in. They are $975 each. I’m not worried about color or gender. I’m just looking to give one a better chance at life. The foal will get handling and training until it’s two years old. Then would be placed in an appropriate home with a contract and visitation to make sure it’s a suitable home. $975 secures his or her freedom. Any amount over this will be used for vet care. If a c**t is purchased, money would be needed for gelding. That can run up to $500. He would need to be vaccinated and a coggins done as well. If anyone can find it in their hearts to give one of these foals a chance, please take the time to donate.

Update- apologies for the delay in letting our community know that these cats are safe! We are thankful to their adapter for reaching out and communicating to us about the situation and we are so happy that they were able to remain within their family.

Please help! Pictured are two cats (both neutered males about 4 years old now) that were adopted from us several years ago. Last night the adopter contacted the Foster to let them know that they had already rehomed our cats once which was a violation of their contract and that the cats were facing eviction with the new owners and needed a place to go that night.

The black cat is one of Mama's kittens, the first group adopted from our rescue. I have nowhere to place these cats today and it is shattering my heart. I am working with the adopter so that they will go to the shelter rather than to be left in their apartment or worse. But I need a foster so that I can pull them from the shelter ASAP. Please. Please help. This is a friendly bonded pair!

Grace is excelling in her foster home, and we're inspired by her resilience. However, the resident feline in her current home is feeling anxious due to her presence, so we're seeking a new foster home for Grace as soon as possible. We asked her current foster mother to share some photos, and she responded, "This is difficult because she's always on top of me," along with a collection of photos, two of which we found particularly delightful. It's been cold lately, but Grace's loving nature is all the warmth you need.
