🎆 America: 🗽 The Land of the free and home of the brave 🕊️ These are the foundational tenets our country is built upon. But how did we arrive here?

Horses are an essential, yet often overlooked cornerstone of our history. They not only shaped American culture and industry, but were instrumental in the development of our economy.

🐎 Before the rise of machines, horses and donkeys worked in the field 🚜 plowing, hauling, and delivering. 🌾 They powered agriculture and transported us across great distances, enabling western expansion.

They were a key ally for indigenous communities—transforming their mobility and hunting practices.

Through all this, horses—in particular, wild horses—have inspired the spirit of the West. They represent untamable strength, courage, tenacity, and the very independence we celebrate this Fourth of July. 🎇

How ironic is it that we’re stripping wild horses of the very values they helped inspire?

Through relentless helicopter roundups, we’re erasing the “wild” from the Wild West—and stealing freedom from the animals who helped build the Land of the Free. 🏜️

To honor our country's founding ideals, we have to honor those who helped create them. Let's celebrate and raise our voices for the horses of America. 🇺🇸 🐴

On the Fourth of July, Americans celebrate freedom, fireworks, and patriotism. For centuries, brave men and women have valiantly fought for the stars and stripes, but shouldn’t we honor the brave horses who have done the same? Horses have served our nation since long before the Constitution was signed, providing vital services such as transportation, communication, farm help, and, of course, companionship. In an age of instant communication, it may be hard to imagine a time when people relied purely on four-legged horsepower.
