PSA: We need you now more than ever! We are desperately seeking foster homes that are willing to help dogs and cats!

Despite popular belief, the Friends of Dukes foster network is quite small and we do our very best to try to help the animals that we can. Bluntly, we can’t even scratch the surface of what’s needed in terms of placing animals- but it doesn’t mean we stop trying!

We rely on a very small group of returning fosters who are in this fight with us. We can’t express how grateful we are to those folks- you know who you are!
Because of you we have been able to save 600 animals. A huge accomplishment!

We recognize it can be an undertaking or overwhelming stepping into foster. We do our best to provide support, training resources, and more, on top of providing all supplies needed to take on a foster.

If you have the availability and/or interest in becoming a foster- please reach out. You are needed now more than ever and we would love to chat! We have a great group of fosters who can speak to their experience and share their skills/knowledge.

Wags is back and we are happy to have him. This guy is a gentle giant that loves the tiniest of toys 🥹 Wags is crate and potty trained. He’s a laid back fella indoors but gets oober excited when he sees the leash to head outside! He is working on some leash manners.

Wags is going through heartworm tx and will be available for adoption when it’s completed. For now, thanks to his lovely foster for loving on him in the meantime 🐕🐾🤍

We are coming to our community and asking for help!

We are feeding/caring for over 40 animals in foster care. Food, litter, prevention, p*e pads, collars, leashes- you name it… it adds up!

We are sharing our wish list in hopes our kind community wants to take advantage of prime day.

Loves the company of people and other dogs. Will do best is a home with older kids due to his puppy tendencies.

After waiting his turn for 7 months in our care- Stevie has finally found his forever home! We are over the moon for this boy and his new family. Stevie and Jasmine have a special bond and found their way back to each other.
