There is a very distinct difference between a service animal and a companion animal, ESA, or therapy animal: task training. While there ARE service animals for psychiatric disabilities, emotional support animals are not the same thing and are not granted the same rights to public access.

We saw this over at Demon Dog Duo and I have to say, we fully agree.

It's crucial to remember: service animals are not pets. They're highly trained professionals dedicated to assisting their humans through challenging times and complex situations. So, please, when you're out with your furry friends, respect the space of service animals. They're on duty, working hard to support their partners. Let's all do our part to honor their incredible commitment.
