Layla Rose Ranch is a nonprofit, 100% volunteer based organization whose mission is to help the abused and neglected horses have a safe place to heal and rehab with the goal to find them a forever home when they are ready. Layla Rose Ranch relies on your donations for all of the cost associated with horse rescue, sheltering and care. We rescue horses that are in need, get them vet care, farrier ca

This 2-year-old gelding has been given a second chance, and with our help, he can overcome his troubled past. Despite his worried expression and wariness around females, which suggests a difficult history, we believe he has the potential to thrive. By bringing him into our rescue, we can provide him with the medical care and emotional support he needs to heal. We're counting on your support to help him embark on this journey. Our comprehensive intake process will include a thorough dental examination, X-rays if needed, a dental float, vaccines, and a thorough exam to identify any potential health issues. Together, we can give him a fresh start and a brighter future.

Here is Mandy. She's enjoying her life as a companion with other horse friends at her forever home. She is spoiled and loved. Her grandkids love her, and she is gentle with them. Just because a horse is no longer rideable doesn't mean they don't deserve a forever home; they still have a lot to give and enjoy being loved on.

Update on babies. Dakota and Sakari are making tremendous progress, learning to lead and pick up their feet with confidence. Dakota is blossoming into a social butterfly, walking right up to you for affection, while Sakari is gradually warming up, starting to feel at ease. Willow, being the youngest, is taking her time to flourish, but with patience and love, she's beginning to trust, feeling safest with a gate between you. By the end of the morning, they were able to sit next to her and gently rub her shoulder, making gentle connections. She's on her way to greatness. We work with them daily, witnessing their growth. Vet day is approaching, a crucial milestone for vaccines, Coggins, and their first feet trim, a testament to their journey.

Darla is taking it easy today after getting padding on her hoofs, which will provide relief until our vet arrives for X-rays. She's enjoying her stall and paddock access, savoring every moment. We've made great progress on her vet bill, raising $180 of the initial $500, but with X-rays on the horizon, we need your continued support to ensure she receives the best care possible. We got to go visit Scout, Daisy and Tad today. They are doing so well. Baby Tad will be weaned soon cause momma is ready and that’s a big baby at 5 months old.

On the way we swung by her vet to pick her horse up for her that coliced since it was on the way.

They definitely remembered me ❤️

It’s 5 dollar Friday.

We are raising funds for Darla’s medical care that she needs. She needs a dental float, vaccines, coggins redone and an exam. We have raised 171 out of the 500. Please help us get her the care she needs. The easy part is getting them the hard part is all the medical care they need when they come In.
