I have an Izzy update. Monday night I told her goodbye and Tuesday morning I was helping my husband hold her limp body and syringe water into her mouth before I left for my commute. I looked up cremation places and thought she would pass while I was at work. I made the post about her during lunch on Tuesday and about 4:30 on Tuesday she looked up out of the no eating, no walking, no bathroom, no drinking etc stupor she had been in and came back. She now can walk, will eat but its still very little and a challenge to find what she will eat, she drinks and even barks at the deer. I thought it might be terminal lucidity but she still seems with it this morning. My husband prayed and prayed for her. He feels like he got a gift from God. No matter what or for how long we feel it is a gift to get her back. If you could have seen the state she was in you would be shocked at the difference. Thank you for all of the caring comments. I feel like I cried wolf, but I really thought we were about to lose her. I took her on the dock last night to see the sunset. Tuesday night we took her on a boat ride with my son who came from Dallas to tell her goodbye. We shall see what today brings. So far so good.
