Benefits of a Custom:
-Five models to choose from based on different needs: The Guardian (moderate to high bite risks), The Guardian Lite (smaller dogs and low bite risks), The Foodie (scavengers), The Double Trouble (both a scavenger and bite risk), and The Adventurer (enlarged air holes)
-Made based on your dog's own measurements for the most accurate and comfortable fit possible
-Exclusive options available such as bite/scavenger guards, badges, muzzle tints and more

-Measure multiple times if possible, and take pics or videos for reference
-Follow the guides closely for most accurate fit

3️⃣ Step 3: Choose your Add-Ons https://miasmuzzles.com/add-ons-and-features/

-Read through our Add-ons to find out what you might want to add to your muzzle
-Treat holes are great as a rule
-Forehead straps are handy for dogs with very short noses, or dogs that have shorter snouts in comparison to the rest of their head (e.g. some bully breeds, St. Bernards, brachycephalic breeds)
-Collar loops are handy for dogs with slick fur, dogs who's heads are the same approximate width as their neck, or just for additional security, to help prevent the head strap from coming up over the ears
-Badges can help send a message or two to those around you
-Add muzzle tints and nosepad patterns for a little extra flair!

We have had many newcomers in recent weeks, so I wanted to answer one common question we've been receiving...

"Can you make one for my dog?" 🤔

The answer is a resounding YES!!!

We have made for every breed, shape and size under the sun, and no matter what, we will never turn a dog down. If this means we need to spend extra time on the design process to make something work, that's exactly what we'll do. We exist because not every dog will fit into a standard-sized muzzle, so it's kind of what we really love to do the most. ❤️

So rest assured, your bull terriers, Chihuahuas and brachycephalic breeds are safe with us!! 😁

Please note that this is a general guideline for most general breeds and does not include brachycephalic breeds.

Measuring for a CUSTOM muzzle is different from these instructions, and the guide posted on our website should still be followed if ordering a custom muzzle.

CHECK IT OUT!!!

Mia's Muzzles on Girl With The Dogs, helping out with a particularly incredible and very needed groom! This one is a doozy and worth watching every minute but skip to 28:00 to see our muzzle in action. This is also an EXCELLENT example of why we fully believe in providing proper pant space, as you can see this boy using all of the space available for stress panting, as well as muzzle training in advance of these situations!
Needing a muzzle just for one situation, whether it's grooming, a quick nail trim, or vet visits, is still an excellent reason to have them conditioned beforehand to help decrease the added stress.

This is Riot, a 4 year old 102 lb bully mix who is in need of a new home, his owners lost their home leading to Riots placement at CARL. Riot’s family reports that he is good with both small and large dogs and kids. He walks well on leash, knows basic commands, is crate trained and house broken (although he might need some practice in a new home after being at the kennel). Since arriving at the kennel Riot has been a little timid but once he realizes you want to be his friend he is a big lover boy! He bounces with excitement when it’s time for his walk and loves to lean into his friends for love and affection. He’s also had a blast joining our weekly playgroups!

Riot would benefit from a muzzle because he gets nervous at the vet, especially when being restrained. Being such a large boy he has managed to break out of lower quality muzzles fairly easily so a high quality muzzle is the best option to keep him and all his vet friends safe! Riot is a sweet boy who needs a loving family that will not judge him for how he reacts when he’s afraid. Please donate or share to help this boy find his forever home! 💖
