🎨🐾 Help us brighten up the kennels! 🐾🎨

At AWSO, we use the municipal kennels – which means while we can’t renovate or rebuild them, we can give them some much-needed love and a fresh look with a coat of paint. 💛

A new paint job will not only make the kennels more welcoming for the dogs waiting for their forever homes, but will also help keep the space cleaner and brighter.

👉 We’re reaching out to our community for donations of paint (any colour suitable for outdoor use on walls/floors). Every drop helps us create a better, more cheerful environment for the animals in our care.

💛🐾 A big thank you to Heather and her granddaughter Courtney for spending their Saturday with us! 🐶✨

They showered our puppies with love while the little ones got their vaccinations, and made sure our older doggos got plenty of cuddles too. Moments like these mean so much – not only to us, but especially to the animals who thrive on kindness and care. 🐕💕

We’re so grateful for your time, love, and big hearts – the dogs (and our team) adored you both! 🌟

We are so grateful to have been able to provide vaccines, deworming, and much-needed veterinary care to animals in our community. Days like these mean healthier, happier pets – and peace of mind for the families who love them. 💛🐶🐱

🐾 This Morning’s Rescue 🐾

This morning, we were called out to help a dog with an open wound on its cheek. Thanks to the quick response from Laura Jane who joined Jacques on the call, this precious pup has now received the veterinary care it so desperately needed. 💛

It's moments like these that remind us how vital teamwork and community support are in making a real difference for animals in need. Thank you, Laura Jane and Jacques, for stepping in and showing this dog the compassion and care it deserves.
