Thank you to Cuddle Buddies for creating this beautiful piece on April, Blossom, and Kenna. The timing is bittersweet, as we found April had passed peacefully in her sleep overnight. We’re devastated and are still processing the heartbreaking news, but forever grateful for the inspiring story of this blended family. 💫

🕊️ In Loving Memory of Oakley 🕊️

With heavy hearts, we say goodbye to our sweet Belgian boy, Oakley.

Estimated to be in his late teens, Oakley came to us with a gentle soul and a heart full of kindness. He had a quiet strength about him—never demanding attention, but always deserving of it — whether he was peacefully grazing in the pasture or standing protectively beside his closest friends Firefly and Ranger.

Sadly, Oakley passed away from seizure/heart failure. His departure was sudden, and though our hearts weren’t ready, we take comfort in knowing he left this world surrounded by love.

Firefly and Ranger have lost their herd mate, their friend—and we know they feel the void just as deeply. We’ll be keeping a close and gentle eye on them as they adjust to life without their beloved Oakley.

Oakley, thank you for gracing our lives with your presence. You were loved, and you will be missed always. Run free, sweet boy. 💛
