This is how skinny Shirley Temple is. I can almost touch my fingers around her spine and hips. And that's after approximately 20 cans of Fancy Feast kitten she had since Thursday.

They named her Shirley Temple because she can go back to her home in Temple Terrace. What do you guys think? Should I return her to starvation or hope she gets adopted to a home that will love her?

She is affectionate and gets along with my cats (which is rare in mamas).

Little update on queen Shirley Temple. She is all skin and bones. She will eat a whole can of kitten food in one inhale. When I weighed her kittens, they were a good weight for a week-old kittens.
But guess what? They have pointy ears and teeth! They might be four weeks old! And as you can see - one is eating from a bowl!

It's a heart breaking situation. We can't save them fast enough. We need more fosters!

One of my mentored fosters just quit yesterday, and she had to have six kittens gone the same day. The effort our rescue puts into getting every potential foster started, the many people involved in getting people signed up for the web access, educated, supplied with medicine, food, cages, kittens, for them just to quit after a week... I have no words left.

We need good hard working people to help us out! We need transporters, adoption counselors, bottle feeders, photographers, cleaners, and mainly people with good hearts and brave souls.
