IT IS A CRISIS!
"Nearly a million more pets are crowding the nation’s animal shelters and facilities compared to three years ago, with more dogs than cats euthanized last year for the first time since one major animal advocacy organization began tracking those figures in 2016.

Shelter and rescue populations in the U.S. have surged by 900,000 overall since January 2021, and more than 359,000 DOGS were EUTHANIZED in 2023, marking a five-year peak, according to animal advocacy group Shelter Animals Count. Meanwhile, 330,000 CATS were EUTHANIZED last year.

“We are trying to empty a river of unwanted pets with a small bucket,” said Kelley Kimble, president of Briscoe Animal Resource Center in Uvalde, Texas."

***TIGER NEEDS HIS FOREVER LOVING HOME***
Have you ever needed a second chance and to have someone with a loving and compassionate heart in your corner when facing life's adversities?
Well, this precious 7yr old boy, Tiger, who is neutered and up to date on vaccines certainly does!
He has been through a lot. Tiger is missing his dad and best friend, who recently passed away, and currently has no place to call home. On top of his grief, he is HW positive, showing no signs, and is receiving treatment (slow kill method/medication), all costs for the slow kill medication will be covered.
Even with everything Tiger has gone through, he is the sweetest, laid back, loving guy that is longing for someone special to be his forever companion and best friend.

So thrilled to share that darling Daffy has her forever home with her loving wonderful mom, dad and big sister! Thank you to Daffy's mom and dad for instantly opening your heart and home to her!

DAFFY IS LOOKING FOR HER FOREVER HOME
If you are looking for a sweet companion to share lots of cuddles and love with, then Daffy is your girl! She is so sweet and loves to be held and snuggled. She is very playful, fun, and loving. Daffy is a Beagle/Cocker Spaniel mix, 6-7months old, 25 pounds, spayed, and current on vaccines. Daffy will not be a large dog (medium size) and would love a doggie playmate.

Babies are safe and in a great rescue!

And thank you so much to everyone who shared!

URGENT! URGENT! URGENT!
We need IMMEDIATE help for seven 6-WEEK-old puppies.
They have until Monday the 11th before the person who has them will be taking the babies to the Chesterfield, SC pound.
Princess and Pups is a very small independent rescue, we have no fosters and are in no position at this to take these babies in.
WE ARE DESPERATLY REACHING OUT TO RESCUES, currently we have contacted over 25 larger rescues to no avail.
If multiple rescues could help by taken even 1 or 2 puppies each, if not able to take them all under your wing.
