Hey, all! I’m sending this message to urge everyone to use caution this weekend if you have to travel. This storm, especially a little further south, looks like it’s shaping up to be a monster. As for me, I’m going to stay in and maybe get a little shop time. Stay safe out there!

Greetings to my Fowl Weather Friends! This has been another productive week in the shop. Birds going out and a lot more coming in. It’s going to get super busy once snow goose season hits in full force. If you have birds you need mounted, I have plenty of room. Give me call to make arrangements to bring them in. They always look a lot better on your wall than they do in your freezer. I look forward to hearing about your hunting adventures!

Good morning Fowl Weather Friends! It's a beautiful day to start off the new year. I want to wish all of you a Happy New Year. As I reflect on last year, all in all it was a good year. Like every other, it had its up and downs. In the end, here we are at 2026. I made several new friends and reacquainted with others. I look forward to what this year has in store. There are some things I probably rushed through in 2025 and didn't fully appreciate them at the time. My plan is to "enjoy the moment" more in 2026. With each passing year, time seems to slip away faster. Before we know it, 2026 will be gone. Let's all take time this year to slow down the clock and enjoy each day for what it brings. Like every year before, it will have those mountain tops as well as valleys we have to cross. When we're on the mountain, we can see the entire valley ends at the next mountain. When we're in a valley, there are mountains surrounding us. All we have to do is climb out, one step at a time. I hope this year brings you more mountain top experiences. May you be blessed throughout this year!!

Merry Christmas everyone! What a blessed and special time of year! Commercialization and the world would indicated Christmas is all about the materialistic things that make us happy. News flash: there is nothing this world has to offer that will last forever. It is all temporal. The gifts we get can make us happy, but only for a short season. We soon forget about it and move on. There is only one thing that can bring us true joy and will never fade. That’s the realization that God humbled himself and came to earth to give Himself as a sacrifice for us so that we can live eternally.

“For to us a child is born, to us a son is given;
and the government shall be upon his shoulder, and his name shall be called
Wonderful Counselor, Mighty God, Everlasting Father, Prince of Peace.” — Isaiah 9:6

The reason we call it Christmas is because of the gift of Christ. Without Christ we would have nothing to celebrate. What a gift for Him to lay down is life as a sacrifice so we can live! As you go about your day, I urge you to take time and ponder what this season really means. I hope you all have a great and safe holiday season! — Greg

Good morning, Fowl Weather Friends! It didn’t take long to go from arctic-like conditions to near Spring temperatures this next week. It has been a roller coaster ride for sure. It’s all good. There is a reason for everything.

I have plenty of room for your birds, fish and small critters. I have several more scheduled to come in next week. Don’t wait too long! Bring them in so you can get them on your wall. Until then, be safe!

Good morning, Fowl Weather Friends! Things are rolling along in the shop. I have taken in a lot of nice birds so far this year. Several calls have come in asking if I have room for more birds. At the present time, I have plenty of room. If you have them in your freezer, give me a call and I’ll get them mounted. I guarantee they’ll look a lot better on your wall than they do in your freezer. I look forward to hearing your hunting stories. Have a great day and stay safe! —Greg

Good morning everyone! What a mess to wake up to with this weather! There’s always that one time when the weatherman gets it right. Today’s that day. I would have liked to have been in my deer blind this morning, but there will be other days! If you have to go out today, make sure to use caution. For me it’s a good day to stay in! Hope you have a great day!! —Greg

Happy Thanksgiving everyone! I have so much to be thankful for today. God tops my list. He is always with me and I wouldn’t be where I am without Him. Family support comes next. No matter what the circumstances, they are beside me. Friends like all of you. You are the backbone of my business. I couldn’t do it without you. This great country. I can’t imagine living in a country without the freedoms we have. The list goes on. I hope you take some time today and think about what you have to be thankful for. —Greg

Hey, Fowl Weather Friends! Exciting times here in the shop. Ducks are coming in, the weather is changing for the better, who could ask for more??

I do have a quick announcement! I have decided to expand a little. Over the past few years, several guys have asked if I mount small animals. In response to that, I will be taking in a limited number small game animals like squirrels, raccoons, etc. Due to permit restrictions and legalities, I will not be accepting bobcat or otters at this time.

I have plenty of room for birds, fish and small game. Give me a call and set up a time to bring them in. Good luck and be safe!!

Good morning, Fowl Weather Friends! The weather says it’s definitely hunting season. Birds should be making their way southward.

As hunters, we all have that elusive specimen we want to have mounted! If all goes according to plan, what is your dream duck or goose for this season? I want to hear from you! Everyone who responds by November 30th and brings in that bird by December 31st will have a chance at a prize. Don’t miss out on your chance to win! Be sure to comment in the comment section below to be eligible!

Good luck to everyone and above all, be safe!!

Good evening, Fowl Weather Friends! Duck season is upon us once again! It always seems to take forever to get here, but once it’s here, we wonder where time has gone.

I want to make a brief announcement! Coming up in the very near future, I will be taking down the Fowl Weather Taxidermy website. This is not a bad thing by any means. I fact it’s good news. With the help of my Facebook account and friends like all of you, it doesn’t make sense to keep both. I have decided to only maintain the Facebook account. I will be able devote my time to post more keeping you all up to date.

Keep watching for updates and announcements. I’m working on some things that may be of interest to you to help our page grow! Be sure to like, follow and share! Until next time, may you be successful and always keep safety first!!

Good afternoon, Fowl Weather Friends! Can you believe the temperatures we're getting outside?? It's been too hot for me to go fishing! At least it's cool inside. I have been working on a few fish this past week. Crappie were on the slate. If you're able to brave the heat and catch one, bring it in and we'll get it done. Until then, stay safe!! --Greg
