Millie and I went on a little date and my goodness I forgot how much joy the city brings this dog. She literally comes alive in the busiest of settings - it’s so cool and special to see how she’s transformed in four years.

Took a puppy photo shoot break this past week, but we back! Starting to see little signs of springtime and soo ready for backyard hangs and walks to the farmers market in town.

Tale of a Friday afternoon… as told by Murray’s eyes

I can’t believe it, but over 50,000 of you are now a part of our little corner of Instagram. We’re beyond grateful to have such an amazing little community here and hope we can bring you just as much joy and kindness as you bring us.

Since it’s been a while, I thought this was a perfect opportunity to reintroduce ourselves and answer some of our most frequently asked questions!
- Millie and Murray are both Australian Labradoodles from - this breed (lab, poodle, cocker spaniel) was originally bred in Australia to be hypoallergenic therapy and seeing eye dogs and are held to a specific breed and personality standard
- They’re not blood related, but they certainly have a perfect brother / sister dynamic - we worked closely to ensure the pups were personality matched to our home, lifestyle, and each other
- Millie is 32lbs and Murray is 23lbs, but they stand at about the same height
- Millie is our worker and our feeler - she wants to make every single person that walks into our home feel like the most special/important person in the world. She’s eager to please (& train) and will often end up next to you on the couch with her head in your lap
- Murray is our sweet little Velcro boy - I can’t walk out of a room without him following me. He’s lazy… if something is too much work, it’s not worth the effort. He’s also silly… he’s the king of independent play, sleeping like a cat (wrapped around your head), and our very own squirrel patrol.
- The pups have traveled all over the east coast and both have their own unique style of road tripping. Millie prefers my lap (and steering with her claws), Murray prefers to be dead asleep in the back seat.
- We got Millie when we lived in NYC on the Upper East Side. About two years later we moved to southern Westchester and got Murray. We miss the city sometimes, but love our backyard and all of the extra space
- I’m Kala, I’m the human behind this account. I work in Product Marketing by day, run by weekend, and squeeze this in any other chance I get
- I’m also almost 35 weeks pregnant! So many changes coming to our family - cant wait to share the journey 🤍

Yesterday I shared a little throwback of Millie-isms and you all loved the trip down memory lane.

For those of you that don’t know, Millie’s first 2.5 years of life were spent on the Upper East Side and she truly embraced the city pup life.

Looking back, apparently she also went all out for Valentine’s Day 😂
