😢 ~ Attention All Neighbors ~ 😢

It is with a heavy heart that we announce the closing of our Palomar Pet Supplies Plus location.
This decision was not made lightly, but due to circumstances it had to be made.

Being at the Palomar store didn't feel like a job, more like a chance to spend time with various members of our community.
We all loved seeing all the various pets and learning their stories. From the Huge Saint Bernards to the smallest little kitten. It was a joy being able to help each neighbor with whatever need they might have; be it picky eaters, dogs in pain, finding the right grooming brush or even which live feeder to get for their reptile.

Hosting the various events created a special connection with all the neighbors as well. Helping the dogs 'paint' pictures, playing in the pools and bubbles as well as all the treats and Pup Cups brought smiles to everyone's faces.
Getting to know and work with the different Rescue Groups helped us feel like we got to make a difference within the community. We loved spending every day with the kittens from Saved By Fate Dog Rescue as well the special events when they brough all their available dogs!
The first Sunday of each month was an amazing time when our store was filled up with Greyhounds from Bluegrass Greyhound Adoption; each dog had their own style and personality that shined brightly.
We didn't get to spend much time working with Clover & Kids Small Animal Rescue, but what little we did was a treats. Having them bring some of their babies over and help educate the neighbors about their care made for an amazing day.

We want to thank everyone who came into our store, whether it was to purchase items, play with the kittens, bathe their dogs, or just to have a good conversation about the products or their pets. All of you made our little store shine bright and feel like more than just another Pet Store. Your stories will remain with us always and we appreciate all the support given through the years.

A couple of puppers that were adopted from Saved by Fate came into the store today!
Both got all clean in our Self Service Bath and got Pup Cups afterwards too!
