I'm a member of Pet Sitters International and today I completed and passed my exam to be designated a Certified Professional Pet Sitter (CPPS)! My exam consisted of 100 questions testing my knowledge of the pet sitting field.

CPPS is a certification mark PSI awards to professional pet sitters who successfully demonstrate their knowledge and skills by obtaining a passing score on the CPPS Exam and agreeing to adhere to PSI’s Recommended Quality Standards and Code of Conduct & Ethics.

Glad to have this accomplishment under my belt and continue building the best cat care empire! ☺️. MEOW!!!!

Interesting article. Time to make cats equal with the vet research being performed on dogs. Such a disheartening fact that they are underrepresented.

“Cats have been so understudied,” said Elinor Karlsson, a geneticist at UMass Chan Medical School and the Broad Institute. “They’re going to remain a black box unless something changes on the research side.”

Many aspects of feline health remain a mystery, even to experts. Our cat-owning reporter learned this the hard way.
