I found $100 on my walk today… okay not exactly 😅 But scooping 2 extra pieces of litter or pet waste makes me feel like a MILLION bucks 💚 Cleaner streets, safer wildlife & pets, happier community… that’s the real jackpot. Try it and maybe YOU’LL find $100! 🐾✨

What the duck?! 🦆 PART TWO! 🦆 We saw some cute ducks enjoying our local river. What we also found was litter in the river… It’s so important to scoop any litter, or dog p**p that we find on your daily walks and dispose of it PROPERLY so it doesn’t enter local watersheds and harm our wildlife! 🚮

Rainy season washes pet waste straight into our waterways 🌧️💩🌊
Dog p**p left behind on sidewalks, lawns, and parks flows through storm drains untreated and turns into water pollution.
Scoop it, bin it, and grab a little extra while you’re at it 🚮

Dog p**p in our watershed is harmful ☠️ 🌊 stormwater washes it into waterways, introducing high levels of f***l coliform bacteria (like E. coli), excess nutrients causing harmful algae blooms, and pathogens like Giardia and roundworms. 🦠 This causes water pollution, it harm wildlife, depletes oxygen needed by fish, and can make pets and people sick!
Always scoop the p**p and dispose of it properly! 💩 🚮

Did you know that 'compostable' dog p**p bags will only actually turn to compost under very specific conditions - namely after several months in a high heat waste facility. They will not decompose while hanging from a tree or lying among the leaf litter. Please be a good neighbour and take your dog's waste home with you to dispose of where it belongs - in the garbage.

Out on my daily walk and spotted this little “mooo-ment” 🐄🥛I decided to remoove this litter before it grazed any longer on our park. Every small pickup helps keep our community clean and beautiful while keeping wildlife and pets safe! 🐕

Next time you’re out walking, take a second to “re-moo-ve” some trash or pet waste out of the way, it really udderly makes a difference! 😉
