☀️Grooming in the heat ☀️

During periods of extreme heat, grooming appointments may be postponed or rescheduled. While our salon is fully air conditioned, the additional heat generated from grooming equipment and hand dryers can make conditions unsafe during very high temperatures.

The safety, health, and welfare of the dogs in our care is always our highest priority, and grooming will not commence if we feel conditions may place dogs at risk. We appreciate your understanding and cooperation during hot weather periods.

Should your appointment need to be rescheduled we will be in touch with you individually. If you have not been contacted your appointment will be scheduled as normal.

Ah my heart is so heavy and sad. Mindy and Mabel passed to the rainbow bridge this week. 🌈💔 These two have been with Pawfect from day dot and Mabel used to come and stay at my house heck I used to stay at her house to look after her even before pawfect was created. The only comfort I have is Mindy is now with her side kick Lola causing havoc. My beautiful friends we are thinking about you and your in our thoughts.

They are our biggest love and hardest goodbye 🐾

Today has thrown me off course and really has hurt my heart. One of my very first dogs the OG Mildred. I didn’t only groom her she came to stay with me for a little holiday, slept on my bed accompanied with her own pillow my two dogs were appalled at the queen’s treatment. Nat and John have been one of my biggest supporters, the loudest cheerleaders and always loved every special Christmas present.

It’s so difficult just being “the groomer” the bonds you make, the love we share with you, the heartbreak we feel is just the same but some how we feel we shouldn’t. Is this a bad thing? I don’t think so. This shows the love and compassion we have for every dog. That phone call this morning sent me to a place of hurt, sadness, a constant lump in my throat, the ache in my heart and that craving for one last goodbye, see you later.

Every dog teaches you something. Even if that is only shown when they love you but hate been groomed 🤣 Millie didn’t feel like that towards grooming. Demanded the attention and lapped up the treats.

Fly high sweet gorgeous girl. 🌈🐾
