Some exciting news to share………..
Property Pups has been offering Puppy Preschool and client puppy support for over 10years now and recently had an amazing opportunity that was too good to say no too.

We are very proud to announce that more Puppy Preschool Classes will soon be available from Ourimbah Veterinary Hospital and Hornsby Veterinary Hospital Yay!!🎉

For further details and dates of up-coming classes please stay tuned and more details will be posted shortly!

And just like that, another month has passed.

We spent time learning, discussing (barking 😆), relaxing and playing. Our April pups worked hard and have all successfully graduated!! 🎉

Thankyou to Coast Animal Health Lakehaven for the Easter feel and all the great dog products we need onsite! And Thankyou to all owners and pups for your time and dedication.

Next months class will be starting Monday 5th May. It will be moving to a Monday evening just for the month of May but it will be the same time (6:30-7:30pm), same place (231 Wallarah Road Lakehaven). Bookings are filling up fast so run like a Greyhound and see you soon 🐾

MERRY CHRISTMAS!! Wishing everyone a safe and happy season of celebrations!
May you enjoy good food, good company and good training moments with your canine companions. Allow them to take in the many new sights, tastes, smells and textures the season can bring. Support them through the scary pops of Christmas Crackers and seperate them from the food table to avoid digestion of inappropriate foods.

We will be taking a short break from training starting tomorrow Christmas Eve, through till the 6th of January. Puppy Preschool classes wil begin again in February and we are looking forward to seeing you all next Year!🎉

As Christmas fast approaches I hope that everyone is puppy proofing their home to make sure furry family members aren’t worried about accomodating your guests and all the hustle and bustle that goes with the Christmas celebrations.

Practice with your pup the following and your days will run that little bit smoother.
- Practice asking them to sit and stay on their bed so that when dinner is served or as guests are arriving they have a safe place to wait for love and attention rather than jumping all over people or practicing thievery!

- Pop some music on daily that you will be playing on the day so your pup can have a positive association to the music and get used to it being louder if they are not already used to this.

- Make a decision now about having or not having Christmas Crackers. The loud POP can scare some dogs when the noise is unexpected or not experienced often. Some people make the choice not to have poppers if their dogs are already storm or noise phobic but some pups just need warning it is going to happen and handler support to be ok with it.

- Create a super safe space where they can go hide/feel safe till the party is over like a crate or spare bedroom that is all theirs. Inform guests to leave them alone when in this space and respect your dogs needs.

You know your dog best so make decisions based on their individual needs and then enjoy the celebrations together! 🎄🎅🏽

Nearing the end of the year we have afew more graduation photos yet to add!
This little solo flier was such a pleasure to work with and BIG Thankyou to her family for travelling to get to class each week.
P.s Our trainers don’t normally get pressies so thankyou very much this is what makes this job even more worthwhile💕!
