FACT FRIDAY …. “DOG” the beautiful rescue story about the dog in Mad Max

In "Mad Max: Fury Road," the rescue dog, known simply as "Dog," not only plays a vital role in the storyline but also represents hope and the possibility of new beginnings. After the chaotic events of the film, Dog is adopted by one of the main characters, further reinforcing the theme of redemption.

This adoption highlights the idea that even in a post-apocalyptic world, there is a chance for healing and companionship. The filmmakers intended Dog's journey to inspire viewers to consider adopting shelter animals, showcasing their potential to thrive and bond with loving owners. Dog's fate serves as a poignant reminder that amidst destruction, there is always an opportunity for new life and connection.

Yes, in "Mad Max: Fury Road," there's a scene where Max, played by Tom Hardy, engages in a playful tug-of-war with Dog. To enhance the intensity and create a more dramatic effect, the filmmakers used editing techniques to amplify the dog's reactions, making him appear more aggressive than he actually was during filming.

This playful interaction contrasts with the harsh realities of their world and showcases the bond forming between Max and Dog. The editing serves to heighten the tension while still conveying the underlying affection and camaraderie between them. It's a clever way to highlight the theme of loyalty amidst chaos, illustrating how even in a brutal landscape, moments of joy and connection can exist.

INSTINCT - SAFETY - COMFORT

How to help your dog with Thunderstorms and upcoming cyclone 🌀

Allowing dogs to follow their instincts, especially during stressful situations like storms.
Dogs have a natural tendency to seek out safe, secure spaces when they feel anxious.
By permitting them to find a spot in the house where THEY feel comfortable, we respect their instincts and help reduce their stress levels.

Forcing dogs to stay in a particular area, or restricting their choices, can increase anxiety and fear.

On the other side, allowing them to choose their own safe space promotes a sense of autonomy and security, which is crucial for their emotional well-being.
By creating an environment where dogs can act on their instincts, we build trust.

This approach ultimately leads to a calmer and happier dog during stressful situations.

Dogs can detect subtle changes in the environment that humans may not notice, such as shifts in barometric pressure or the scent of rain.

Many pet owners have observed their dogs behaving differently before a storm—becoming anxious, seeking shelter, or displaying signs of restlessness. This behaviour is thought to stem from their instinctual responses to potential threats in their environment.

Let them find their own little safety space . If your dog chooses to be with you , just let them snuggle up ♥️🐾♥️

Pictured
My sweet doggies, Lady and Chica, rarely snuggle up, so it warmed my heart to see them cuddling together. It brings me such comfort knowing they feel safe with each other, especially with the storm approaching. ♥️

STAY SAFE EVERYONE 🌀🙏🏼

Do You Know That the Earlier You Start Training Your Puppy, the Better Their Behaviour Will Be?

Lil Hunter is already well trained- crate training- doggie door - boundaries in the home, sit, wait! Such a delight to watch.

Here are three tips for your training a 4-month-old puppy :

Positive Reinforcement: Use treats, praise, and play as rewards for desired behaviours.
This encourages your puppy to repeat those behaviours and strengthens your bond.

Short and Fun Sessions: Keep training sessions brief (5-10 minutes) and engaging.
Puppies have short attention spans, so frequent, positive experiences will help maintain their interest and enthusiasm.

Socialization Opportunities: Expose your puppy to various environments, people, and other animals.

This helps develop their confidence and adaptability, which are crucial for well-rounded behaviour as they grow.

And most importantly….. enjoy the the journey ♥️🐾♥️
