Teach your dog a new trick.
Today our celebrity trainer, Animal Planet Pet Expert is teaching you how to get your pup to rollover.
This trick has 3 out of 5 paws in degree of difficulty so remember to have patience and practice, practice, practice.
With lots of encouragement, repetition and treats she’ll get it!

We just received our new Swift Paws home plus addition at the Academy! There is no better way to prepare our pups for training then to burn off that edge of energy to get them into a learning state of mind. It is also a great way to reduce behavioral issues seeing as that most bad habits are caused simply due to boredom.

This is not a paid collaboration, I’m making this post because I think the owners are amazing and I love the product! Do your pup a favor and check out !

Come out and join us at Bella SPCA's Fourth Annual Cause for Paws fundraising event on November 26th, at the beautiful event venue! Have you purchased your ticket yet? 🎟

All proceeds from this fun and inspiring event will support life-saving rescue and adoptions through Bella SPCA's adoption center, affordable community veterinary care at Bella SPCA Animal Hospital, adoption education, and most importantly, meet the goal to provide spay and neuter clinics for Oklahoma.

This year’s event will include dinner, drinks, a live band, silent auction, adoptable pets, and more. Come on out for a night of fun and continuing the mission in bringing hope to animal welfare in the state of Oklahoma!

Our sweet foster pup, Monke, has officially been adopted! 🥳 It was such a pleasure to have him train with us at Puppy Paws Academy! Read his amazing story below 💚

Welcome home, Monke!

All adoptions are special and all have a story. We don’t always tell their story but Monke’s is different.

Monke was adopted as a puppy and returned a couple of times for being an escape artist. We thought he finally found his furever but he got out the last time and the owners didn’t want him back. A volunteer drove to Enid to meet animal control to pick him up (once a Bella dog, always a Bella dog). Once we got him to our adoption center, We quickly learned he had not been taught any manners or rules. Our friends at Puppy Paws Hotel & Spa quickly took him into their training program, Puppy Paws Academy (thanks to a generous sponsor) and his training work began. He has been up there the last few months, learning and being spoiled! Then it happened, the family he’s been waiting for found him online and came to meet him. Today his furever came true. 258 days, he’s been waiting patiently and today was his day!

Again, welcome home Monke! You will be missed by so many!
