Sweet Coal, who I've been seeing many days a week since 2015, has crossed the rainbow bridge. I hope he meets up with his brother, Whiskey, who crossed in November of 23. They will spend their days running and sunbathing.
Coal and Whiskey were Florida racetrack rescues by sweet Jen and her family. He was a happy, silly boy, full of energy, but very grateful to be retired into a life of couches and cushy beds where his only runs were on the beach with the boys, Liam & Thomas.
He had a long happy life after retirement. Please think good thoughts for Jen, Chris, Liam, Thomas. And for the rest of his pack, Troon, Oban and Guzman, who have also been rescued into the same safe and loving family.
We will all miss him
