We switched to Brookdale when we discovered that was the Animal Hospital our BELOVED vet left the practice we had been going to for over 10 years. Not only did we follow her, our cavalier furiends Winston, Penny & Luigi did as well. Since it’s a bit further than the previous place, we carpooled! We made quite a scene when we rolled up, 5 cavaliers deep!! 😂🤣 Love all the staff there but ESPECIALLY Dr. Skinner!! 💜

My poor little man has the WORST hot spot on his belly and is NOT happy about the cone of shame! It was a ROUGH couple of days but he’s *finally* turned the corner and seems to be more comfortable if not still unhappy about the cone. HUGE shout out to Dr. Skinner at Brookdale Animal Hospital and Dr. Culbert at Charlotte Animal Referral & Emergency (who BTW also has a cavalier) for taking such good care of my little guy and tolerating my breakdown. There is NOTHING worse than not being able to comfort your pup. I told one of the receptionist’s at Brookdale I don’t know how people with human children do it!! I’m just relieved that he’s on the mend and feeling more comfortable. 🙏💜

Your Cavalier’s home away from home!

Renee and I are experienced Cavalier mama’s with a passion for the breed. We are NOT breeders nor are we a rescue. We offer an alternative to boarding your Cavalier in a commercial facility and welcome Cavaliers only. When campers camp with us, we incorporate them into our family for the duration of their stay where they share in the same amenities as our pet(s). We do our best to ensure that their normal routine is not disrupted. I have provided below a list of the Cavalier rescues that I am aware of as well as a link that will provide a list of breeders who adhere to health testing for those of you who are interested or have inquired.
