Traveling with cats can be… an experience 😹🚗

A little preparation can make trips much easier for both you and your kitty.

Helpful travel tips:
🐾 Secure carrier at all times
💧 Bring water and a portable bowl
🧸 Include familiar blankets or toys
🌡️ Keep the car cool and comfortable
🚫 Never open the carrier outside the car
📍Update ID tags/microchip info before trips

And yes… some cats will absolutely sing the entire drive 🎶😹

Road trips are more fun with dogs… but traveling safely matters too 🐶🚗

Before heading out:
✅ Pack extra water & food
✅ Bring a leash and backup collar
✅ Take frequent potty/stretch breaks
✅ Never let dogs ride loose in the car
✅ Keep vaccination records handy
✅ Pack familiar toys or blankets for comfort

Bonus tip:
A small pet travel emergency kit can make unexpected situations WAY less stressful.

Summer fun is great… until the heat becomes dangerous for our pets ☀️🐾

Pets can overheat MUCH faster than we realize, especially during walks, car rides, hikes, or outdoor events.

A few reminders for hot days:
💧 Always bring water
🌳 Take shade breaks
🔥 Test pavement with your hand before walks
🚫 Never leave pets in parked cars
🐶 Watch for heavy panting, drooling, lethargy, or wobbling

If it’s too hot for your bare feet, it’s too hot for their paws ❤️
