Are you looking for someone to care for your pets while you are away over Christmas?

Would you prefer to have someone stay at your home with your pets rather than them having the stress of being put in kennels or boarded in someone else's house?

We can help.

We are based in Cheshire and are available from 16th December onwards.

I'm Rachael and my 11 year old daughter, Francesca and I have been house and pet sitting through the housesittersuk site for 4 years and have had amazing experiences and received great reviews.

We have experience of looking after lots of different kinds of dogs of varying temperaments/sizes/needs which includes:

- rescue dogs
- reactive dogs
- anxious dogs
- older dogs
- dogs with health issues requiring medication

We are true animal lovers and treat all the pets we care for as if they were our own.

Francesca in particular loves dogs (that is how we got into pet sitting) and is very confident with them.

We also love cats, in fact, we love all animals and would be very happy to look after them with experience of caring for goats, chickens, birds, fish, reptiles, hamsters, rabbits and guinea pigs.
I am self employed and work online and Francesca is home educated so we are not restricted to term time dates.

The rate we charge for our services ranges from £0-£50 per night depending on the type and number of animals and the level of care required.

If caring for dogs this would include 2 x 30 minute walks per day.

- A calm environment with lots of cuddles and attention for your pets

WE REQUIRE:

- Full written/printed/emailed instructions on how to care for your pets and home - including daily routines, feeding, medication etc.
- A good internet connection
- Your home left clean, tidy and secure for us

We are pet sitting locally this week for a 2 year old lab who is full of fun and has bags of energy.

I have to wait in for an electrician at my house so I have brought her here and she is happily exploring the garden.

Choosing a pet sitter rather kennels or a dog boarder might cost you a bit more but its a like you choosing a nanny over a nursery for your child.

You know your fur baby is going to get one-to-one care and attention in their own familiar environment without the stress of adapting to a new place, lots of different people and unfamilar dogs.

It reduces the stress considerably for both you and them.

Lots of the dogs we care for we go back to time and again so we have built up familiarity and trust with them and they are as pleased to see us as we are to see them.

They are still a bit sad when their owners go and are sometimes quiet for a day or two but we help them through it and what really helps is them having their familiar routine in an environment they feel safe in.

Which also helps their owners have a more relaxed holiday.

she just might be the prettiest, most playful and most affectionate little cat I have ever met.

She is an absolute joy.

She is half ragdoll and I can really see those traits in her as she trots around the house after me like a little dog. 😻

As well as booking with us directly you can also book our pet sitting services through Rover.com.

Although they take a fee there can be benefits to booking through a 3rd party such as their booking protection policy and the Rover Guarantee (set out below).

I do have my own separate pet sitting insurance but this should give pet owners additional peace of mind should anything unforeseen happen whilst they are away.

This was a really fun sit we did a few weeks ago in Suffolk looking after 4 gorgeous dogs. We were so busy keeping up with them all at the time I didn't get chance to upload any photos until now!

We are pet sitting a lovely, gentle dog called Bisto in Twickenham this week.

He is an absolute joy and so laid back which is a bit of a contrast from last week looking after 4 small and extremely energetic dogs (I didn't even have time to upload any photos yet we that busy with them!).

This week looks like being a bit more sedate and relaxing just hanging out at home with Bisto and taking him for walks at the nature reserve near his house. Unfortunately he has developed some arthritis so we have to keep the walks quite short but we take him a couple of times a day.

This is our 3rd visit to look after Bisto so he is really getting to know us well.
