FIFE HAS SCOTLAND'S 'MOST DOG-FRIENDLY' BAR

A Fife bar has been named Scotland's most dog-friendly pub.

The top place in the land for a pint with your pooch is the West End Bar in Pittenweem.

That’s according to a survey carried out by the pet care company Rover.

They sent a team of “expert Tavern Testers” to inspect pubs as part of their Dog Friendly Pub Awards checking facilities for our four-legged friends.

Rover says, “The West End Bar impressed judges with their fully enclosed beer garden, providing a safe space for pups to relax, and the pub owner’s warm, personal greeting for each dog, with an abundance of dog treats and water.”

The pub is a well-known landmark situated on the main road through Pittenweem with the front of an old fishing boat in its front yard.
