Q & A on the fresh mushrooms

Good morning!

We’ve been getting some great questions about the fresh mushrooms that we now offer on our website. Here are the answers to some questions that we think may be helpful to you.

Q: Do you grow your own mushrooms?

A: No, we do not. The Fungi Kitchen is a food processor and reseller. Our fresh mushrooms are sourced and grown by the Sno Valley Mushrooms Farm in Duvall, WA. They have been in business for ten plus years, and have supplied fresh mushrooms to many local stores and restaurants. You can find them at the four year-round farmers market in Seattle, and the seasonal Redmond farmers market if you are interested in checking them out.

Q: Do you offer delivery?

A: Yes, we can deliver in Duvall, Carnation, Fall City, Snoqualmie and North Bend for an additional fee. If you would like your orders to be delivered instead of shipping or store pickup, please email us for additional information on the delivery fee and how to order for delivery.

Q: Can I mix and match the fresh mushrooms?

A: It was not available before. But due to the high demands, we now have mixed mushroom basket available on the website.

Order deadline for store pickup this weekend is the end of Wednesday. Please reach out if you have any questions!

We have a few updates to share with you this rainy Saturday morning!

We're excited to share that The Fungi Kitchen will be attending the Duvall farmers market this season! We're also exploring the possibility of joining a few more markets, so if you have a favorite local farmers market in mind, we'd love to hear about it!
