Is anyone aware in the "79" of dog theft! Our gates were shut securely, no open door, but one of our oldest boys is missing. He was never a runner, loves his home, no way he could get out unless someone opened the gate while he was sunning himself. He would have stood and barked if he found himself outside the 6 ft high wall, which he could never scale and would be frightened. I am sick. James is making a police report and calling the Mairie's deputy. Ive never lost a dog in over 50 years of rescue, we are careful.

Dogs are no different than Children! You offer them healthy treats-- carrots, apples, cucumber, banana,pears, celery--- they will EAT healthy treats. You offer them Junk food--- chips, crisps etc--- they grow up FAT and Unhealthy. The morning offering today was carrots, cucumber, banana!

Bad weather again and car is in need of major repair so James will be doing 4 km roundtrip on his bike to pick up lottery tickets-- its over 100 mil tonite. He was driving cat to Vet Wed to have pins removed from his broken leg. Boiling water started pouring out from under the dashboard, burned his leg. He got flustered, pulled off road quickly and ran over something and broke the oil pan. Neighbor towed car home with his tractor. Just what we needed????

Weather here today was horrible-- Cold, Windy, Heavy Rain--- so i needed Comfort Food. Made a pot of Real Chicken Broth--- cant buy it canned here. Decided we needed a Pear and Apple Crisp. James pitched in to peel the fruit. I added a touch of Cognac for something a bit different. Helped get us thru the Day.I am a Charter member of the James Martin School of Butter! If a little is good, a lot is better.Lol
