These little ones are just 12 days old, and I’ve started teaching them some basics. They’re learning to come when called and hop up onto a pedestal using reward-based training. 🐥🐥🐥✨

I’m amazed at how quick they are to learn and how many incredible, pre-installed behaviors they already have. 🤩

We use reward-based training to teach our chickens tricks. ⭐ 🐓

This means we give our chickens something THEY want (a reward) when they do something WE want.

For example, we give our chicken a treat (something she wants) when she pecks a ball (something we want).

Our chicken soon learns that if she repeats this behavior, she will get a reward. 🍪 🐔

This is the fastest and most fun way to teach chickens anything!
