What is a snuffle mat?
A snuffle mat is an enrichment feeding mat/game for dogs (though cats and other critters can utilize it as well). You hide treats throughout it and allow your pup to use their nose to forage for the food. It's great mental stimulation as it engages their senses and makes them work for their food. It can also be a good way to help wear your dog out when the weather isn't great for playing outside, or for distracting your pet (particularly while you host company or cook this holiday season).
My snuffle mats are made with a heavy rubber base, so they cant be flipped or ripped up as easily, but they are still machine washable in cold water! They measure 12" X 12".
The tugs do stretch with hard tugging, as they're only fleece, but should hold up nicely for less intense pups!
I dont recommend any of these products be used without supervision. As with any toy, they do pose a foreign body risk if consumed. They are not meant for chewing, but instead are for interactive play between you and your dog. 🐾
