Little Squish did it! Saoirse got her UKC Champion title this weekend (pending approval). It’s so fun and fantastic to get to have a dog to practice my show trims/breed standard trims on! Especially for my favorite breed.
Usually, I itch to change my personal dogs’ haircuts/styles maybe every few months🤣. But I want to keep perfecting my modern till I’ve really nailed it before switching her trim! I’m so used to this one at this point my brain may blue screen a bit when I change it. We’ll just have to see when the time comes!
And on top of that, Saoirse performed a medical alert amidst her showing without Penguin’s assistance (though Penguin did alert, but Saoirse wasn’t present to see it, so it was an independent catch). I’m so proud of the little lady and service dog this pup is shaping up into becoming. Though hopefully, with Penguin still in remission, Saoirse’s medical assistance will be a backup because Penguin will still be around and doing her job. Manifesting good things🩷
