Look at that precious head tilt & fluffy cute face!!!🥰 This is one of my newest puppy students “Eevee”… she’s a mini Bernedoodle…3months old & already a 🌟Star Student🌟. She is brand new to their family & they are first time dog owners. I am super proud of them already how far ahead of the game they are with her. They are well prepared and have everything a puppy could possibly need. She is now blessed with the most beautiful home & responsible/loving owners. She was pretty relaxed/quiet during our entire consultation & I am even more impressed how well their 4 -year-old son handled our consult. We were able to smooth right through all of those wonderful details & by the time we got started with our physical exercises… their 6 year old daughter got home from school. They were both excited to practice with their new, smart puppy…YAY!!! They loved the idea of positive “clicker training”… the kids had fun “clicking & rewarding” Eevee with all of her new skills. I think she has the most wonderful temperament around the children & they will be able to teach this sweetie pie whatever their heart’s desire. Eevee was responding to every single thing we practiced like a little queen… she is on the top of my student list. They were wonderful… welcoming… fun to be working with & I know they are going to excel in training. Keep up the phenomenal work… you all did a perfect job practicing & I will see you again soon🤩👍👍👍

I started working with this beautiful girl “Sadie” a couple of weeks ago🥰 She is one of my more challenging students since she is quite hesitant of new people. She is a very sweet pup, so we are now trying to build up her confidence the right/positive way. (this is not criticism whatsoever towards her owners) I commend them for getting training and wanting her to have a better life…relationship with them & others. She has always been anxious/cautious since the moment they got her. They did work with a trainer before they hired me. That trainer unfortunately used force tactics (which in my professional opinion) only gave her a negative experience & could have made this hesitancy even worse. I knew I had to take my time with her. This is why I never have and never will rush my sessions. Our dogs deserve patience & understanding. They need that time spent with them so they feel safe and can bond with us. Using punishment tactics on an already anxious dog is only going to make it worse. She would not let me handle her very much in the house. They have a big, beautiful property… so I knew I had to get her outside & get her brain/feet moving in the right direction with me. She was letting me walk her around & practice some “Heeling/Leave It… we also had her working on a fun “Recall”. I am proud that they are keeping an open mind and willing to make appropriate changes to set her up for success. She seems to be more hesitant with men, which is very common as well in many anxiety cases that I work with. The more the men in the family get involved in her positive training, I am certain her confidence & listening skills will grow. It made my heart very happy that she started to warm up to me. I always say & this is the truth…”Baby steps in dog training are MAJOR steps!!!”. Even though we didn’t get to more fun exercises, we are at least on the right path. Keep up the great work. Sadie is really counting on everyone & I know there’s a confident girl inside waiting to come out💞 I will see you again soon… you made me very proud Sadie. 💜You get a big A+💜

I have not seen beautiful “Murphy” since she was a puppy!!! It was about a year ago when we did our last session. My clients wanted to follow up with some leash walking and a few other tiny exercises. She was happy to see me & I was thrilled to see her. She is very healthy & looks totally different from when I last saw her. They are raising a very sweet girl🥰 I am proud to announce that they are getting married in November… I wish you both a blessed, happy, healthy, long life together!!!
🎉💙🥂💙🎉💙🥂💙🎉 💙🥂💙🎉
Murphy did a wonderful job leash walking.. she was learning how to Heel… turn with our direction and sp*ed… a nice “Stop-Sit-Stay”…. They were super impressed how well she was doing with the “Stay Cue” indoors around distractions… we were also teaching her some fun little tricks!!! It was so cute… she was learning “right spin” & “left spin”. She is so smart they can teach her whatever they so wish!!! Thank you again for the little gifts… they gave me the collars and harnesses that Murphy grew out of as well as p*e pads. I will definitely keep them on hand when I work with extra small breeds (you can never have enough training equipment in this industry😆)… those p*e pads will definitely get donated to the shelters in need. It was a pleasure seeing you all again… I’m very proud of you… keep up the beautiful work & I hope you have the most amazing wedding of your dreams!!!💞

He’s another 🌟Star Student🌟 of mine… if he were my dog, he would get sick of me hugging him all day!!!😆

I have had so many new, amazing students… but this handsome boy certainly stole my heart last Thursday🥰 Believe it or not…”Mando” is just 6 months old & a big goofball🤪 We both instantly fell in love with each other… after our session, he just kept following me around… he even followed me into the bathroom to keep me company😆 I have always had a soft spot in my heart for Bulldogs (especially English bulldogs). My dear friend passed away, but that was his favorite breed. I’m sure he was enjoying our session from heaven. The family was so impressed how well Mando responded to positive training. He was having so much fun & I am so happy that their son & his fiancé joined us the entire session. They have 3 beautiful kitty cats that were coming out and observing what we were doing (Everyone knows I love kitty cats😻). He is going to have that beautiful reinforcement from everyone in the household. They also have an older English bulldog “Chesney”. She let me pet her and give her some treats and observed from the side herself. They are a really cool family… they were so welcoming, receptive & a blast to be working with!!!🤩 Keep up all of that phenomenal work… I will see you all again soon… in the meantime, be sure to smother this boy with hugs and kisses for me😘 💙🎉💙A+ for everyone!!!💙🎉💙

I started working with this intelligent cutie pie in the beginning of the month “Cortado” aka “Tater Tot”🥰 he’s around two years old & a handsome Poodle/Shih Tzu mix. I always say (and it’s the truth)…Poodles are in the top 10. They are some of the smartest dogs on the planet. His mommy originally wanted him to be an emotional support dog. He is hesitant with men & very clingy to his mommy. He has developed some separation anxiety, but I can confidently say that she is ahead of the game with him in many important ways. I am beyond thrilled that he allowed me to handle him right away. He knew I liked him very much & warmed up to me with no problems. We are now setting new healthy boundaries for him & building up his confidence the right/positive way. He has to learn that he doesn’t have to bark incessantly even if his mommy has to leave the room to do laundry. We were able to cover a lot of wonderful exercises. We reinforced his special “Spot”…Sit, Down, Fetch/Drop It…the “Quiet Cue”… but this was super impressive how well he stayed in place. I received a wonderful progress report from his mommy yesterday. She also reserved an area for him to chill in the kitchen instead of being under her feet… she is now teaching him healthy independence… that he does not have to follow her in every single room all of the time. He needs to learn that it is OK to relax and settle on his own since she is definitely his security blanket. I can see how much she loves her boy to pieces & he certainly adores her!!! You are doing a wonderful job, Victoria… keep up all of that outstanding work🤩👍👍👍 Cortado is blessed to have you. You both get a 🎉GIGANTIC A+🎉…YAY!!!

Look at that cute, fluffy face & beautiful big smile!!!🥰 You can tell what his temperament is like just looking at these adorable pictures💙 They could not have picked a better name for him…”Teddy”… he certainly looks like a big teddy bear! He is supposed to be a mini goldendoodle, but bigger than they expected. He’s around 7 months old & I am beyond proud how far ahead of the game they are with him already. They have three kids in the house…13, 11 & 4 1/2 years old…he is the only dog in the house & we all know that our dogs can perceive young children as other dogs quite a bit! He is very accepting of them… he has the sweetest temperament… energetic… affectionate… super intelligent… crate trained already… is not as mouthy as I would expect him to be… he has the most beautiful gigantic home & yard that they are going to be getting fenced… etc. We started out with a nice strong foundation & I am so proud of how well the kids practiced. They loved the positive “ clicker training” & I was able to give them their own clickers to practice with. Just remember… They are not a toy!!!😆 You all did an awesome job… I am thrilled that my client’s mother was there for the weekend for Mother’s Day. She got to join in the entire consultation & our exercises. They are wonderful family to be working with… the kids made it extra fun… they are sharp as a whip & I am SUPER PROUD that I had their attention the entire session…YAY!!! With all of that positive reinforcement from everyone, they are going to be able to teach this cutie pie whatever their heart‘s desire😍 Keep up all of that outstanding work & I will see you again soon!!!
💙🎉💙HUGE A+ to everyone💙🎉💙

I got to see beautiful Cleo again on Sunday💜 Luckily we had a cooler day outside to practice. Sometimes she’s very reactive when she sees other dogs (especially when they are excited themselves)… she will pull her mommy excessively when she sees squirrels, rabbits…etc. Cleo is the sweetest girl, but a very strong!!! Her mommy wants to build up more control at the sight of all of these stimulations… as well as, keeping a strong positive association to the other doggies in the development. They are in condos so there’s not any fenced area to really let them run together. There was a brave rabbit that kept coming out of the bushes too… that gave us something to really work on!😆 Her friend in the same development was sweet enough to bring her Boston terrier/Poodle mix over for a nice introduction “Bingo”. We did not let anything get out of hand, but we rewarded all of that nice, calm/friendly behavior. Also, we got to do an introduction with “Butter”. She’s another beautiful puppy in the development that is extremely active. She had a lot of fun making new friends. We even saw a kitty cat on the leash outside!!! I know if her mommy keeps up with a strong “Heel…Stop-Sit-Stay…Focus & Leave It”… she will definitely continue to improve. She was very happy to see me and I was happy to see her. They are sweet, responsible clients and Cleo is just a gentle teddy bear… super smart & just a joy to be around💞 My senior cat was diagnosed with cancer on the 22nd of April. “Honey” was growing increasingly weak, and was trying her hardest to make it to the litter pans. My client Michele was so gracious & thoughtful. She gave me a whole bag of puppy p*e pads that she had sitting in the closet. I was able to put them in front of the litter pans, which helped us immensely. My beautiful cat passed away peacefully at home in my arms on Monday. She also gave me a big, new collar that she couldn’t return. You are so kind Michele. Your thoughtfulness and gifts are greatly appreciated. That made things so much better for my baby until she went to heaven. Yes… Our animals are a lot of work, but they are family and worth every second. You have one of the sweetest dogs on this planet… keep up all of that phenomenal work. I am so very proud of you💞

Look at this beautiful Goldendoodle “Lily” that I started working with on Saturday💜 I am so proud of her already. They did a little bit of basic training when she was younger at the petstore, but she’s been giving them some issues at their home. They knew that private sessions would be best at this point. They have the most beautiful home with a ton of land & even the most beautiful kitty cats. Two of those tan boys sat right with me during our consult & even let me hold and pet them😻 I love friendly cats more than anything💞 The husband and wife also have their mother, father and brother at the house. Lily is definitely attached to the mother-in-law… follows her around quite a bit & does some incessant barking, especially when she goes outside. I am thrilled that she is taking part in our training….

Lily gives warning signals with anyone new… she is hesitant of strangers at first and will bark at them. She will also bark if they go to get up or make any sudden movements. She does not have any bite history, but we most certainly do not want her stressed out and it leading to that. We are setting an entire new foundation for her with healthy boundaries & turning all of her hesitancy (negatives) into positives. I am thrilled that her brother from the same litter lives close by and she gets play dates with him…YAY!!! We took our time and I did not want her to feel pressured whatsoever. Luckily, she was taking treats from me right away & when we walked around their big, beautiful backyard…they handed the lead over to me and she was just fine. She let me handle her faster than most other hesitant dogs do. They have the coolest set up & a bunch of gorgeous chickens that are very well taken care of. The mother was so sweet to give me a dozen eggs… what a special treat!!! Thanks so much again Elaine🐣 Also, they did away with her crate because they were having difficulty training her with it. The crate is one of the most amazing tools for many great purposes. They brought it out and we are just slowly building a strong, positive association to that as well. They sent me pictures the very next day of her happily relaxing in there with her big bone…THAT’S AWESOME!!! Even with the barking, she showed drastic improvement almost right away with the little tricks that I taught them… that is super promising!!! We are just getting started on the right track and I am proud that the whole family will be setting Lily up for success. You all did a phenomenal job on Saturday… keep up that great work… you have the most beautiful fur babies & I can clearly see that they are all loved to pieces. Can’t wait to see you guys again soon!!!

Back with handsome Snoopy & pretty Ella last Friday for our 2nd session. We were able to reinforce a lot of wonderful things once again. I’m proud to say that Snoopy is getting excellent socialization and playtime with their daughter’s dog & they have been very responsible doing their homework. He is newer to the home so we have no idea what he experienced before they got him. This video is a little bit different than what I normally post. They are getting him adjusted to the crate much better and building up a strong positive association to it…YAY!!! They got him a fun Kong Wobbler to give him some mental activity as well. We worked on the “Stay Cue”, “Focus”, “Back Up”… we tried to do some fetch/drop it, but he was not too interested in that during the session. He will play a little fetch though for his mommy, so I know she can reinforce that much better as time goes on…

One of their biggest concerns is that he’s a little sneaky when they go out of sight. Even though they have a TON of appropriate toys for him, he will still chew on inappropriate objects around the house. Luckily their house is nice and clean so they are managing the environment very well to set him up for success. However…since he is still learning, they are restricting him to certain areas of the house until he can be trusted better. He can very easily jump over these shorter gates. The smaller one on the side is a shelf that the husband originally used for their last dog to keep him in the kitchen. We were just using that temporarily to practice and see what he would do. They do have a larger baby gate for that side. We do not want him hopping these gates or putting his feet on them. He has to understand that staying in the kitchen area & NOT PUTTING HIS FEET ON THE GATES will be much more rewarding than trying to leap them. We worked in little baby steps & tested to see what he would do. We all went out of sight in different directions, which would normally entice dogs to react. He was showing outstanding control… SUCH A GOOD BOY!!! Their older dog Ella is a little sweetheart... we couldn’t leave her out of the fun!🥰 Snoopy has shown tremendous progress in just two sessions already… you are a wonderful family to work with & I’m proud to be a part of your training journey to give him the best life possible. Keep up all of that fabulous work!!!
