Raven's Reptile Rescue UK We are a completely non-profit, reptile rescue based in Peterborough UK. Welcome to Raven's Reptile Rescue.

We are a completely non-profit reptile rescue based in the UK. We are hobbyists who specialise in small and medium-sized reptiles, amphibians, and invertebrates. We are here to help provide a safe home for abandoned, unwanted, or otherwise in-need animals. We rehome many of our rescues; however, if for any reason they are not suitable for rehoming, we aim to look after them for the rest of their lives.

Like most in the reptile world we started as hobbyists. Jabba was our second frog and first Pacman, who has been with us for over 6 years . Sadly his age caught up with him and he passed in the night.

Gnocchi is a Royal Python. They arrived on 11th March 2025.

Gnocchi was two to three years old on arrival. Gnocchi's previous owner told us they were moving country and needed to find a home. After agreeing on a time, they arrived late and left Gnocchi on the doorstep, so no further information was able to be taken.

Gnocchi is nervous but can be handled. They are a good weight and they have started exploring their viv.

Banana Bean is a Crested Gecko and arrived on 26th November 2024.

On arrival, Banana Bean was one to two years old and came to us when the previous owner could no longer look after them.

Banana Bean arrived with their name and is a shy Crestie; however, they do not mind being handled. He explores his viv when he thinks we are not looking. Banana Bean has no tail, so any future owner will not have to worry about him dropping this.

Twix is a female bearded dragon.

Twix was around three years old. They came to us when their previous owner could no longer offer them the time they needed. Twix was a truly spoiled bearded dragon.

Twix is a very sweet girl who loves being cuddled and exploring both her viv and our house. Twix loves all her bugs and enjoys a wide range of food. Bearded dragons live up to fifteen years, but some in captivity have lived up to twenty years.

Meet Twix who arrived on Sunday. Twix came from a loving home who could no longer offer her the time she needed. Twix may have only been here one night but she is definitely a cuddler and explorer.

We have been invited to an event over Easter and would like to raise £350 towards everything needed for the event. Thankfully we have had a few donations already and are borrowing a few items.

Just a polite reminder that we both work. While one of us works from home, they can't just get up and answer the door. If we agree a time, please stick to it the best you can, and if you are running late, let us know. Please do not just abandon animals on the doorstep.

In other news, meet the newest snake. Don't worry they are now in a proper vivarium on substrate

**Pinkie Update**
Pinkie is doing very well! Her eyes are much clearer, and she has regained some vision—although not 100%, it’s a significant improvement. As per the vet's recommendation, Pinkie will remain at the rescue due to the possibility of recurring issues. Pinkie is now an ambassador for leopard geckos.
