Yesterday I got to help my friends at the American Cancer Society Chad Richison Hope Lodge Oklahoma with the national launch of Empower. It's a national program that launched across all 31 Hope Lodge locations nationwide - and I got the call to serve in OKC. What an honor for me and for my mom. In addition to serving a variety of caregivers, cancer patients and their families, I also got to see one of my BFF's -- Kelsee!!! Look. I’m a hunter. And I don’t apologize for it. The fact I was able to catch that mouse outside this morning in all the sleet and ice would be impressive to most people. I can’t help it if my mom was also slipping and sliding in her pajamas and her flip flops while holding my little brother as she chased me. And all the hoopin’ and hollerin’ was just uncalled for.
