"On December 11th, my brother faced a life-altering heart attack that sent him to the hospital, and he’s been fighting for his life ever since. It’s now January 7th, and he is still in critical care, on dialysis, and struggling to recover. Due to lack of oxygen, both of his feet had to be amputated. He’s on a feeding tube and will need months of rehabilitation to regain basic functions, including learning to swallow and rebuilding his muscle mass to move again.

At 57 years old, he’s always been the one to work hard and never ask for anything, but now he’s facing challenges that require the love and support of all those who care. This journey is just beginning, and while the road ahead is long and difficult, we are hopeful that with the right care and support, he will find the strength to rebuild his life.

"On November 25th, my son, Luis Acosta, was involved in a devastating hit-and-run motorcycle accident on his way home from college. The driver, under the influence, fled the scene, leaving Luis severely injured. Despite the odds, he was miraculously stabilized on the way to the hospital, but his injuries were extensive—multiple broken ribs, a fractured spine, damaged lungs, and more.

Just days before the accident, Luis had enlisted in the National Guard and was preparing to begin his journey in basic training. Now, instead of preparing for the next chapter of his life, he faces an incredibly challenging road to recovery.

Throughout this journey, our family has been relying on hope, prayers, and the support of loved ones. We are grateful for every act of kindness, whether it’s through your thoughts, prayers, or simply sharing our story. Thank you for standing by us as we work to get Luis back on his feet.

"Our family is facing an incredibly challenging time as we watch Greg Rydzyk fight for his life. In February 2025, Greg began to feel unwell and called an ambulance for himself, only to discover he had suffered a brain bleed from AVM. After emergency surgery, he has been in a coma ever since. The road to recovery has been long and full of setbacks, with multiple hospital and rehab transfers, and ongoing struggles with health insurance. Greg now requires another major surgery to replace part of his skull, which was removed due to brain inflammation during the first surgery.

Throughout this, his parents have been doing everything they can to support him—his father working tirelessly to provide for the family, while his mother has stepped back from work to be by his side every day. The expenses and red tape have made this journey even harder, but through it all, their love and hope for Greg’s recovery keep them going.

We are so grateful for the support and prayers we’ve received. Please continue to keep Greg in your thoughts and prayers as he fights for his life.

"On June 10, 2022, Paul Upton’s life took an unexpected and heartbreaking turn. After a surgery complication, he faced severe infections, shock, and sepsis, resulting in nearly two months in the hospital and 13 surgeries so far. His condition remains critical, and he still cannot walk or eat. After all this, the road to recovery is long and uncertain, but his family believes that moving him to a hospital and rehab center in Indianapolis will give him the best chance to recover.

His friends and family have been by his side every step of the way, sacrificing their time and resources to support him, but the financial strain has now become overwhelming. They continue to hope and pray for a better future, and with your support, Paul can finally be moved closer to home for the care he needs.

"I am the grieving mother of April Holt, who was tragically taken from us at the age of 29 in Nashville, TN. April leaves behind two beautiful children, ages 7 and 12. In the wake of my loss, I have felt the deep need for a space where people can grieve together, find comfort, and support each other. That’s why I’m working to open the ""Grieve with Me"" grief center—a place where those who are mourning can come together to heal, whether through shared moments over coffee, grief resource classes, youth grief groups, or even grief camps in the future.

Grief is often a lonely journey, even within large families. I want this center to remind everyone that we don’t have to walk this path alone. It’s a place where healing can happen, and where people can feel supported, understood, and loved. May this center not only bless our community, but eventually spread hope and healing to others as well.
