Hocking County 4-H Horse Team The Hocking County Horse Team consists of 4-Hers of all ages that want to further their horse knowledge and then put it to the test at state competitions.

The Hocking County Horse Team consists of a number of 4-Hers of all ages that yearn to further their horse knowledge and then put it to the test at State Competitions. There are many different events that the kids can participate in including Horse Bowl, Hippology, Horse Judging, and Groom and Clean. The team meets about once per week with a slight break from October through the Holidays just to p

ick back up in January. The different events cover topics from horse health to horse genetics and judging. You can find more information about each individual event by going to horse.osu.edu click on Calendar of Events and then select the contest that you are interested in.

Hocking County was well represented at the Ohio State 4-h Horse Program Recognition Banquet last weekend! Chrissy and McKenzie received Gold Honor, Hannah, Cameron, Morgan, and Andrea received Silver honor, and Kayle received Bronze honor. Great job everyone!
