Meet Harrison, the amazing Bearded Collie who just graduated from our 3-Week Custom Board and Train Program! 🎓🐾

Fun fact about Bearded Collies: they’re known for their intelligence, making them excellent problem solvers and natural learners! Harrison came to us with one main goal: overcoming his barrier reactivity. He became reactive through privacy fences when attending daycare and his family acted quickly to ensure this behavior could be avoided in the future 👏

With a little patience and dedication, Harrison not only learned to stay calm around other dogs, but he also mastered the art of hanging out with other dogs on place, side by side. 🐕💪

Harrison also learned nice loose leash walking manners, sit/stay, and more. To help build Harrison’s confidence, we incorporated agility exercises that pushed him outside his comfort zone, and we’re thrilled to see how much he’s grown! 💙

Congratulations Booker!! 🥳 Booker is an Anatolian shepherd mix who just graduated from our 2-Week Manners at Home Board & Train program! When Booker first arrived, he was a bit unsure of the world around him and would often "pancake" 🥞 to the ground when faced with something that made him uncomfortable. But with consistency, patience, and positive reinforcement, Booker has made an incredible transformation. He’s now confidently tackling new challenges and navigating the world with a newfound sense of enthusiasm! 🤸‍♂️

Booker’s journey wasn’t just about learning obedience skills like loose-leash walking and the “leave it” command—although those are definitely important & helpful, it’s been about building his confidence and showing him that he can face the world with a calm and steady mindset. We're so proud of how far he’s come and can't wait to see him continue to shine in his forever home! ✨

Congratulations Boomer on completing his 2-Week Obedience Unleashed Board + Train! 🥳🥳

Boomer excelled in our Puppy Start Right Board + Train program back in December where we focused on confidence building, socialization, and obedience foundations to ensure he grew up to be environmentally stable and ready to take on anything life throws his way . Now that he’s 8-months old, he was ready to take his skills to the next level! 😎

Boomer learned how to navigate public spaces with ease and mastered off-leash reliability! He was complimented everywhere he went and was even mistaken for a service dog on many occasions 🥹

Boomer’s journey is just beginning, and we’re excited to see how he continues to thrive. We’re so excited for his family to enjoy his newfound freedom off-leash and we know that he’s going to be an outstanding ambassador for all the hard work and dedication that went into his training. Meet Ruby, the adorable 3-month-old doodle who just graduated from our Puppy Start Right Board and Train program! 🎓 In just two weeks, we’ve worked hard to build a strong foundation of obedience skills like sit/stay, down/stay, and place.

Ruby came in a little nervous around other dogs, but with the help of her furry friends, she’s learned how to have great social manners! 🐕💕

We also focused a lot on confidence-building, and we couldn’t be more proud of how far she’s come! Ruby’s journey doesn’t end here—she’ll be back for Adult Training this fall, and we can’t wait to continue working with her.

Please help us give a huge congratulations to Eleanor, the adorable 4-year-old Boxer for graduating her 3-week Custom Board + Train program! 🎓🎉

Eleanor is another pal of ours from ! She came to us after starting a new naughty habit of nipping dog sitters 🫢 Eleanor had a long history of being strong-willed and a master at pushing boundaries 😅

During her three weeks with us, we focused on building a better working relationship with humans, one built on mutual respect and trust 🤝 We challenged Eleanor with agility and confidence building activities as well as fostering a calm state of mind through decompression work 🧘‍♀️

Eleanor has transformed into a much more eager-to-please girlie and we can’t wait to see her continue to thrive with her family! 👨‍👩‍👧 Here’s to many more tail wags, healthy dynamics, and fun adventures ahead! 🐶❤️

Hi, my name’s Haley and I am the Owner and Head Trainer of CCT! We’re so glad you’re here 😊

CCT was established nearly 5 years ago 🤯 to bring Oklahoma City relationship-based, quality dog training that focuses on fun, freedom, and fulfillment for our pups! After struggling with some severe behavioral problems with my first puppy, I saw a desperate need for behavior modification training that takes a balanced approach and sought to fill that gap🤝🏼

I specialize in puppy development, on and off-leash obedience training, behavior modification/rehabilitation, as well as training for dogs with disabilities 🐶 My favorite part of this job is helping owners realize that their dog’s are capable of so much! Many of my students come to me at their lowest point with their dog and it’s a privilege to get to coach them to success ⭐️

Kenzie specializes in puppy foundations, on and off leash obedience, as well as behavior modification work for fearful and reactive students. Kenzie’s sweet spirit has given her a special connection to our fearful pups and we just love watching their confidence grow under her guidance! 🥹

Miss River just completed our 3-Week Behavior Modification Board & Train program, and the progress has been AMAZING!

When River first arrived, she had some challenging behaviors—dog reactivity, potty accidents, fence jumping, and destructive chewing. But with the right mix of mental and physical stimulation, along with a structured routine, River has made incredible strides!

In just three weeks, her obedience foundation is solid, her reactivity has reduced dramatically, and she can now confidently practice her skills out in public. 🙌🏽 She’s learned to channel her energy in positive ways, and her family is going to see a whole new side of her at home.

So proud of the progress River has made, and we can’t wait to see her continue to thrive! 💫

🎓🐾 Big congratulations to Katt, the 1.5-year-old Rottweiler, on officially graduating from his 2-Week Custom Board + Train program! 🎉

Katt completed a Board + Train with a company that sadly didn’t provide the structure and neutrality practice that he needed. 😒 He became very excitable reactive around people and other dogs which put a real damper on his owners big plans for their future! 👎🏻

Over the past two weeks, Katt has made incredible progress in managing his emotions toward both people and other dogs. It’s been so rewarding watching him grow into a more focused, calm, and balanced pup.🥳 His big heart and hard work paid off- mastering impulse control and staying focused on his handler in social environments👏

We also made great strides in distraction-proofing Katt’s obedience skills in public spaces. Whether it was staying on task around crowds, noisy environments, or other distractions, Katt nailed it🔨

What’s next for Katt? His owner has big plans, aiming for the Canine Good Citizen title and eventually working toward service dog training! 🐶 We couldn’t be more excited for what the future holds for this incredible pup and his owner.

🎓🐾 Graduation Day for Anya! 🐾🎓

It feels like just yesterday little Anya was a tiny pup joining our virtual puppy lessons at 10 weeks old, and now—look at her! After completing our custom 2-week board and train program, this 10-month-old English Cream Golden Retriever is a true superstar! ✨

From mastering place and down with longer durations and higher distractions, to perfecting her recall (so reliable now! 💯), Anya has leveled up in every way. And the best part? She’s rocking off-leash walks like a pro! 🐾🌟

🎓🐾 Huge congratulations to Sully on completing his 2-Week Manners at Home Board + Train program! 🥳

This amazing boy is a 1-year-old deaf boxer who was dumped on the street, likely because of his hearing impairment😔 He had no idea that his life was about to take a wonderful turn!Now, with some dedication and a lot of love, Sully is thriving in his forever home with CCT alumni, the Graham family. Sully LOVES other animals and he’s happily sharing his home with two canine sisters, doggie brother Tyrus, and a kitty🐱 friend!🌟 Sully is the 4th Boxer we’ve trained for the Grahams! 🤯

All Sully needed was a line of communication between him and his people— now has the skills he needs to be a well-behaved companion🤗 We’re excited to see him continue to grow, learn, and show just how much love he has to give🐶🩵

Seeing Sully’s transformation from a confused, abandoned pup to a confident, happy dog with a bright future fills our hearts with so much joy. His journey reminds us all that every dog deserves a chance, and with the right people by their side, they can overcome any challenge. Congrats again, Sully!🏅🎉

It’s brutal out there this morning! 🥶

Winter is far from over so here’s a few things you can do to keep your pups safe and happy 🧣❄️

•Be prepared! Pay attention to the forecast and ensure you have critical supplies on hands
•Keep your dog active with indoor exercise and mental enrichment
•Salted roads and sidewalks are bigggg health hazards for your pet. Limit exposure, don’t allow your dog to lick the salt, and wipe their paws when they come inside! 🐾

🎓🐾 Big congrats to Reggie, our 5-month-old Great Dane, on officially graduating from his 2-week Puppy Start Right Board and Train program! 🎉

This sweet boy has come a long way in such a short time, working hard on building his confidence. Great Dane’s can be a little stubborn and suspicious when presented with new challenges so we made sure he’s ready for anything! He also learned important commands like place & down, and improved his potty training. We also discovered a big problem with his potty training issue was that he wasn’t tolerating his food, so we made a switch to help keep his tummy happy and healthy. 🍽️

Reggie’s progress has been amazing, and we’re so proud of the brave, strong, and smart pup he’s becoming. He made so many new friends, both human & furry! Can’t wait to see all the amazing things he’ll do next! 🐾

That’s a wrap on our first Shadow Program! 🎞️

I had the best time working with three dog enthusiasts, learning the ins and outs of how dogs learn, remote collar training, puppy socialization, behavior modification, appropriate greeting with people + dogs, and more! Students got tons of hands on experience working with our Board + Trains, personal dogs, and even had the opportunity to bring their own dog to join in on the fun🤗

On our last day, we met up with Trainer Kenzie and her Board + Train student for a group field trip to the Wheeler District to round out our curriculum 📚

A huge congratulations to Margo and Ruby for completing our 2-Week Puppy Start Right Board & Train Program! These two pups made incredible progress, learning loose leash walking, essential obedience skills, and appropriate toy play (includes no biting/jumping to grab the toy). They thrived in socializing with each other and made the cutest bestie duo while they were here 👯‍♀️ They learned how to be neutral around people and other dogs, building confidence along the way. Agility training helped boost their self-assurance, and it’s been amazing to watch them grow into well-rounded pups. Margo and Ruby are now ready for all the new adventures life has to offer – we couldn’t be prouder! 🐾🌟 They were the perfect way to conclude 2024 ❤️
