So our Sweet Sassy Gal …. Is having a hard time getting her meds down the new cushing medicine said that could be a side effect as well as depression. It’s kind of up and down right now praying and just hoping that we can start getting her pain meds in her. She’s in a lot of pain was able to get some in her last night so this morning seems better . Will post more soon. If you can help please Donate we are in over 5k. …. she has another appt in a few days for exam farm visit x-rays so add another 1k on that! We need to raise this money for This sweet little girl …. she deserves to be safe and comfortable and be able to be a horse with her herd! .org

Sassy is showing improvement… super proud of her. The meds are so expensive, she is being picky and not eating @…. she is fighting laminitis and now cushinga and  equine metabolic disease. She is not interested in the food that meds fo in ughh Sassy it will take your pain away. Please reach out if you can help !!

Howdy friends …..listen to audio … this is two days ago update. I’m going back out there this morning and I’ll give another one. Thank you all for your love and the people that have donated so far thank you so much. I appreciate it. This is her fifth day on her Cushing medicine and last night her face looked pretty good after I applied the Manuka honey, and some fungus spray stuff because I still i’m struggling with this whole get down. I think her tail is healing up too anyways I’ll send another update but thank you everybody please please share and please donate and we still need to come up with about $4500. Thank you so much.

My heart is broken and in disbelief with a heavy heart and news from blood work is mind blowing …. but things now kinda check out ….. Sassy did test positive for both Cushings as well as Equine Metabolic Disease. Normal range for ACTH is 2-30 and her test was at 87.3. Normal range for Insulin is 10-40 and she was at 45.85. We need to get her started on a medication called Prascend. Everything that you have done with her diet change will help us with this dramatically as well but this explains more as to why she was higher risk for a metabolic issue and her laminitis. I am really glad that we did the testing and that we have this information now. This is very helpful and important for her continued treatment plan and future.

Taking sweet sassy home today going to continue her care with her furry friends keep prayers. It’s still touch and go, but she’s walking better praying she’s feeling better.

So if anybody knows our story, they know sassy is my heart Horse, well they all are my heart horses, but sassy is the original beauty that started this amazing journey of rescuing and giving horses the best life we can give them until their last days … She is the OG , one of my most strongest and healthiest horses and praying she recovers and she can continue her happy little life of helping humans heal …… but let’s first pay it forward and help heal sassy so she can continue changing all of our lives on a daily basis. if you would like to help sassy please go donate to mobiusgarden.org. DAY #5
went to check on sassy and see if we can bring her home !!!
From Vet !!
Attached are the lateral radiographs from today of the thoracic left and right limb. I am super happy to see that she is holding steady and has not had more severe rotation. The left is acutally measuring slightly better then last week. The right is slightly worse then last week. Overall, this makes me happy and this supports that everything we are currently doing is working.

taking her meds well first night she started showing a little improvement still laying down 4 to 5 times a day for at least 3 to 4 hours at a time to think about it but the best thing for her , the veterinarian says so she’s resting. It’s so damn hot here right now too, which makes everything worse. Just keep praying.
