Winter dog waste pickup is crucial!

Even though it’s winter and snowy, the turds do not disappear. Winter dog p**p is yucky to step in and becomes a significant pollutant in the spring thaw. The real harm is leaving the turds lying around,however, it is in their two main pollutants: nitrogens and pathogens.

What does your dog’s poo say to you?

A dog’s waste consistency may tell your pet has an unbalanced stomach. Dog waste is separated by seven different stages

1. Dry, hard pellets they may be hard for your dog to expel.

2. Firm, but mouldable logs that leave no residue when picked up.

3. Moist, log-shaped poo that are losing their form and will leave residue on the ground.

4. Soggy, log-shaped poo that loses it’s form when picked-up.

5. Very moist, viscous pos that are in a pile rather than log-shaped.

6. Diarrhea with some type of consistency, has texture with no defined shape.

7. Watery puddle of diarrhea with no texture.

Your dog has one of these types and is saying more to you than you realize.
