POLK COUNTY FIRES UPDATE
- Now known as Black Cove Complex fire
^ Made up of three fires totaling 6,500 acres
* Two largest fires are now 10-20% contained
* Two fires caused by downed power lines
* Third fire cause still under investigation
- Blaze has spread into Henderson County
- 250 houses evacuated
- Named highest priority fire in southern U.S.
- Roughly 500 firefighters involved
^ From as far away as Montana
- State of Emergency declared for Western NC
- Burn bans remain in place across NC & SC indefinitely

Progress is steadily being made. Stay vigilant and DO NOT BURN.

Spring is officially here when these little lizards are everywhere! 💚💚

It was a beautiful day for equine workouts/love, dog walks, and kiddos soccer practice 🙌🏼☀️❤️ 15,000 steps with a few more tasks to complete and we can call it a day around here! 💪🏼💪🏼🥱😴

This morning before seeing other clients, the old man got a couple braids and help shedding that cold weather coat. Won’t be too much longer and he will get a long thorough bath and trim 🖤

All dogs must be leashed and all cats in a carrier. Please bring water for your pet during the wait.
