Misty got a ribbon last Saturday at the ECHO event! She had some trouble with a few of the Hazards but there was a lot and it was quite overwhelming. Plus it was pouring rain and we were both soaked. All said, I'm glad we gave it a try.

Misty carried me for the first time today! I'm very proud of her, she's been doing so well. Just a few laps around the riding ring because it was very hot and the greenheads were biting her. But every good experience is a step forward!

Misty had an appt with the horse dentist. She found 2 wolf teeth that had to be pulled! A 14 y/o horse with 2 wolf teeth means she most likely had never had her teeth done. Wolf teeth can be very sensitive and cause discomfort with a bit in their mouth. Misty was very brave and did better than I expected for her tooth work. She should be feeling and eating a lot better in a couple days.
