Dexters typically provides 300 to 400 lbs of beef, which is sufficient for a family of four's consumption for approximately 40 weeks. This is a porterhouse from our steer. (About 20 months) Processed a year earlier than we wanted to so smaller than what an average is. Proof that bad behavior eats just fine.

Just brought home our first Dexter beef from the butcher. We didn’t breed him and only had him for a few months. He was a dick so he went to the butcher early. Still super excited for our first taste of Dexter beef.
