Tomorrowā€™s Nail Trim Clinic will be shorter than normal.
With the weather anticipated the be in the mid 90s, we donā€™t want any pups burning their feet on the way in!
We will operate from 8:15am until 1pm. If you have the option to carry your dog inside OR, to place booties on their feet, we recommend that. If that isnā€™t an option for you, try and walk the pups from your car to the inside of the shop as quickly as your pet will allow šŸ™‚
As always, the safety and wellbeing of your pets is our top priority.

TRIGGER WARNING: below are pictures that may be hard for some of you to view. We encourage you to skip this post If photos of matting or sores bother you.

- Why is routine grooming maintenance important for your pet, you might ask?
Well, it is important because it can truly limit the amount of matting that may form on a pet between professional grooming visits.
Matting is not only painful to pets due to the fact that it continuously pulls their hair, it also hides a lot of things such as embedded foxtails, sores, hot spots, infections, bug and/or bug bites, over grown nails, and much much more.
Not only is matting painfulā€¦. Once it has formed.. it can also be very painful to try and remove.
PLEASE NEVER CLIP MATTING OUT AT HOME WITH SCISSORS!
More times than not, the pets skin will fold into the matting. If you clip the matting with scissors, you risk causing serious injury to your pet.
If your pet is suffering from matting, please give us a call and let us help you.
Your pets will thank you later šŸ¶

Carrieā€™s critters is looking for a part time employee to start immediately.
This position is on Mondays only from 8am until 4pm. Will pay minimum wage.
Requirements -
-high school diploma or equivalent
-must be able to lift 50 pounds
-must be able to stand and walk for extended time
-must value excellent customer service
-must love dogs
-MUST BE ABLE AND WILLING TO PASS A BACKGROUND CHECK

This position will require you to do the following.

-Answer phone calls and schedule grooming appointments.
-check in and out pets upon arrival and departure
-Keep the shop clean
-clean, feed and water rescue dogs on site
- scan and update rescue dogs to their adoption sites and update their microchip information on line

Although prior work in the grooming industry isnā€™t required, it is desired!
