We will post across the ranch as well, but here is a notice to all current or prospective boarders. Thank you all for everything our first year here!!

All pasture board will increase on Jan 1st, 2021 to $250 per horse. This is after a full year of record keeping; due to costs of feed, water, pasture upkeep, and continued improvement. As of Jan 1st, 2021, please make all checks or money orders payable to Rautenkranz Ranches, LLC.

In addition, we will be implementing a new ranch rule of no loose, nonresident dogs. Due to insurance concerns, all dogs brought onto the premises must be leashed, tethered, or kenneled. We apologize for any inconvenience, but appreciate everyone's continued business and support. Have a safe and wonderful holiday season!!

Looking forward to seeing you this weekend for our tack sale and clinic! If you are spectating the clinic please bring your own chairs, and maintain a healthy distance from others. What I crave food truck will be here sunday from 8-2. We are very excited to have them on board with us! I have their breakfast, lunch, drink, and DESSERT menus attached. Plus pictures of their amazing food. They are a locally owned and operated business. Plus they make amazing food. Come support them! 🍔🌮🍤

Saturday June 27th we will be hosting a tack sale, spots are $10 each and limited (please bring your own table and chairs, etc.) 10am to 4pm. Please reach out to Dave or Jenna to reserve a spot.

Genny Miller clinic will be held on June 28th hosted by Dave and Jenna Rautenkranz at the 4 Cross R Equestrian Center in Yakima. The kids session is 8-12 followed by a lunch break. We will have What I Crave food truck on site from 8-3 for breakfast and lunch. The adult session is from 1-5. If you would like to audit spaces are limited due to social distancing. We also need to limit the total amount of people on the grounds. It’s not to exceed 50 people. If your child is riding we must limit to one accompanying adult.

$25 to audit
$100 to ride in adult clinic (CLASS FULL)
$75 for 4h kids (CLASS FULL)
We will be covering horsemanship (patterns), showmanship, and trail!

Here at the ranch we are all battoned down for the forecast thunderstorms rolling in. We have exciting news about hosting our first clinic here in late June, more to follow in another update soon. Updates to the place and facilities continue, we are in the midst of fertilizing and w**d control in the pastures, updating gutters on barns, and some pressure washing and other general maintenance. New batch of stickers in, available by request here on site, and now that our embroidery store is open again, another order of hats will be going in, as well as some new graphics available on new clothing items. Stay tuned and we hope everyone is enjoying the warmer weather!

4 Cross R will be introducing Deck the Stalls for the Christmas season! Boarders will get the chance decorate their stalls in the chance to win top honors!
Stalls can be decorated AFTER Thanksgiving and decorations must come down by Jan 2nd. Keep fire and horse safety in mind when it comes to your decorations.
Awards will be presented at the barn Christmas party (date TBA)

A couple new features to the ranch has been recently added!
We now have a designated smoking area that is covered and comfortable. Absolutely no smoking outside of the smoking area or in the barns!
For the safety of our borders and horses, each barn now has fire extinguishers mounted in each barn.
We now have a locked drop box for boarders to place their board in. There is also a note pad for suggestions too! This way you can drop your board off at anytime without having to track down Dave or Jenna.
Our standard bedding of choice is West Coast Pine Shavings for the stalls.

Hello all!
Today, October 1st marks the first official day at the new location 4 Cross R will now call home! Dave and Jenna are moved in and working on getting things cleaned up and in order.
*For boarders making the transition, please make sure you have contacted Dave or Jenna for payment arrangements by the end of today.*
Dave will be taking some time off from training to tackle immediate projects but will continue his farrier schedule per usual.
**If you are interested in boarding this winter, call Dave ASAP as spots will be filling up fast!*

Haul Ins: Must be prearranged with Dave and $10 per horse day fee. Training: Dave Rautenkranz specializes in c**t starting, refreshing, footwork with flexible sessions to meet your particular needs.

Farrier Services: Dave Rautenkranz offers farrier services for all breeds and disciplines, full lameness care, as well as natural barefoot trimming. Haul ins by appointment and emergency lameness exams available on site.

Thank you for sponsoring the Genny Miller clinic yesterday. It was a great afternoon even if it was kind of windy and it was clear that the participants learned a lot. As a WSH judge I thoroughly enjoyed watching people learn in a friendly and helpful manner.
