We would like to introduce Arlo and try to find him a forever home! Arlo was brought in by a good Samaritan after being hit by a car. Because of this he has some lingering nerve damage to his shoulder so he has a bit of a floppy limp, but this doesn't seem to slow him down. Due to his uncertain past Arlo does have a tendency to resource guard, though once he is no longer living in our kennels this may improve. We have been working to reassure him that food won't be scare anymore. Because of his insecurity around food, we feel that a single dog home would be ideal. He doesn't seem to mind cats but in our care hasn't had any direct contact with them. He is pretty sure that he is a lap dog and he adores snuggling! He is quick to learn and has so much love to give. Please contact our front desk at (509)966-4000 if you want to give this little guy a loving home!
(also, he is neutered and vaccinated!)
- did you know cats get comfort and security from enclosed spaces? This is why you may find your cat cozying up in cardboard boxes, shoe boxes, shopping bags, and an endless list of other squared objects.

We have some of the best veterinary technicians you could ever wish for here at TDAC. This clinic could not function without this fantastic team and we are so so grateful for them and thrilled to celebrate them during this National Veterinary Technician Week! Have you thanked a vet tech today?
We are looking for a loving home for this handsome fellow. He started out pretty fearful but over his time in the clinic he has turned into a love bug. He is likely to be happiest as a mostly outdoor cat though it wouldn't be shocking if he wanted to spend more time inside! He's about a year old, neutered, vaccinated, dewormed, and FeLV/FIV negative. He has also been ear tipped because we weren't sure how feral he was when we found him!
Never a dull moment here at TDAC!
Thank you to Sophie for being such a good girl for her exam today and to her parents for letting us post her picture!
Are you looking for a little extra love and adventure? Shasta is a 3 year old, female/spayed husky who needs a home! So far she seems to do well with other pets including the small dogs and cats she has encountered, and she also does well with kids (though she is clumsy and may knock smaller kids over with enthusiasm). She does well in the car when kenneled (kennel will come with her) and she knows her basic commands and is potty trained. She *does* have epilepsy and is on lifelong medication to control her seizures. Fortunately she takes her meds beautifully with a treat.
If anyone is interested in fostering her or becoming her forever home, call us and ask the receptionists for more information! (509)966-4000
Good morning! Last night Dr. Bomgaars and her daughter managed to catch this little girl running around Selah. She almost certainly comes from a family with young kiddos and she's very scared but sweet. If anyone knows her family we'd love to help reunite them! ❤
Please welcome Dr. Han to the TDAC family.
Her dedication and passion to exceptional animal care makes her a wonderful addition to the clinic. She is looking forward to building ever lasting relationships with all who walk through our doors.
Yesterday a post started circulating on Facebook and Snapchat about a dog needing a home as it was facing euthanasia. This post was made by an employee who did not have all the information and made some erroneous assumptions. Although their intentions were good, this was done without the knowledge or permission of the dog’s owner. We here at TDAC value our relationships with our clients and we take your privacy seriously. We would like to sincerely and publicly apologize for that breach of trust and reassure everyone that this is a mistake that we are discussing with all of our employees to ensure it is never repeated.
Alton Brown and Scabigail are partnering with Hill's to raise awareness about pet obesity! It makes total sense that this nerdy cook who loves science would like this food as much as we here at TDAC do 😊
90% of pet parents with overweight pets don’t realize it, and I was one of them. Sure, I knew that over the last year I’d done some “over treating” but it wasn’t until Elizabeth and I used Hill’s Pet Nutrition Body Shape Assessment Tool that we realized Scabigail has put on too much curve for her own good. After talking with a Vet we decided to switch her to Hill’s Science Diet Perfect Weight.
Now, Scabs and I are teaming up with Hill's to help get the word out about how important healthy weight is to wellbeing. I know first-hand how weight can affect overall quality of life and really, it’s no different for dogs…only they don’t usually turn down treats because they’re trying to “lose a few.” We have to make the good choices for them, things like exercise, plenty of snuggles, and especially a balanced diet based on sound nutritional science.
Best of all, Scabs loves the stuff…though she has made some changes to the packaging.
Be sure to follow on Instagram to keep up with her progress.
Reminder! The roads are a mess out there. PLEASE drive safely and give yourself plenty of time to get here. If you decide to reschedule your appointment, call us as soon as possible so we can make that happen!
Merry Christmas from the TDAC family ❤
This handsome man’s name is Tigger. He may be 14 but is still very young at heart, but does prefers to be the only cat in the house. He is liter box trained, very well behaved, and loves people. Currently Tigger is staying with us but is looking for his forever family! All he wants is a sweet loving family that has a warm comfy bed to just cuddle into and spend the rest of his days lounging in.
We're back up and running!
Bear with us, folks! The power just went out! Power crews are working on it right now, but for the moment we're working by cell phone flashlights 🔦
We are sad (for us) and overjoyed (for her) to announce that Natalie is retiring after 22 years of being an amazing technician and office manager! We don't know what we will do without her, though we think that she'll be spending a lot of time at the beach without us 😎
Please join us in wishing Natalie a fantastic and well-deserved retirement filled with sleeping in and only minimal paper work!
